Good food not so good service

The server didn`t give me my dinner roll that came with my meal. She dropped the coleslaw and did not replace it. My nephew knocked over his drink, she was kind enough to clean it up. She did not refill it. He had a kids meal with icecream. Guess what? He did not get his ice cream. Other than... read more

We stopped here for breakfast on May 23rd, only because Ihop had a so called fire. Got seated right away. Had to wait for the waitress. Ordered our food. Waited. Got our food which was good. I was pleased with the food. Then we waited. And waited. And waited. Finally another waitress asked if we wanted boxes. She got us... More

I love the mom and pop places, even more so when I'm traveling. The value for the portion sizes were great. I had the chicken croquettes, which were excellent. It included two sides and soup or salad. The clam chowder was awesome.

Horrible service. Horrible food. A tradtion down the tubes. It breaks my heart that this establishment went the way it did. Just close the doors than have this type of service. Or maybe invest in some decent servers that do not sit at the counter stuffing their faces with grilled stickies as oppseded to serving them. Wake up State College!!!!!!

Friendly, good service, good prices, reasonably varied menu. Excellent omelettes. Rairly tasty soups. Convenient location on Business Rte#322 just east of the boro; easy to find, ample parking.

This was our 3rd yearly visit. The first time we ate three of our meals there. The service was great and the food was fabulous. The 2nd time last year the food was great, but the service had slowed down. This year we were seated promptly, ordered our food and waited just about an hour for our food. We watched... More

For starters, I'm not a breakfast food person, so maybe I'm a little bias. But oh my goodness, this has to be some of the worst breakfast food I've ever had in my life. And breakfast food is really easy to make... But I guess I need to think of this meal as more of an experience. Because it was... More

Really didn't care for their breakfast. Service was slow and the food wasn't that good. Plenty of parking. A good fourth choice I guess if Waffle Shop and Ihop are too crowded but I probably would wait til lunch and go somewhere else.

Nothing fancy, good food, resonable prices and awesome sticky buns. Atmosphere is casual the students love the place, as I am sure you will see why.

On a recent trip to Penn State decided to have breakfast at what used to be a great diner. Had to wait in line for over ten minutes, even though there was no one in front of us and there were empty tables. Service was terrible! The scrambled eggs and the toast were cold. Used to recommend this place, but... More
