HEAVEN ON EARTH - Best Ice Cream Ever

Like other dairy bars at universities with ag depts, the ice cream and dairy products here heads and shoulders better than anything you've every had. The ice cream is delicious but it has always been a super long wait to get it! Our favorites are butter pecan and the coffee break.

This creamery's ice cream is the best of the best. Their cheeses are excellent as well. Go there if visiting the Penn State area.

The Creamery is one of the most beloved places on the Penn State campus. The selection is extensive and each one is terrific. Over the years I think I tried them all. :-) There is only one size cone or cup -- and in both instances you get two large scoops for $3.50 of pure heaven. The ice cream is... More

The University is self-sufficient in dairy needs though its own farms off campus. Thus, freshness is beyond compare. Large selection of flavors in a newly constructed Ag building.

Get your ice cream fix and dairy from the place that taught Ben & Jerry's (among others) how it's done. With large portions and boasting 4-days from cow to cone, this is the place to come to satisfy your craving. You can also get fresh milk, cream cheese, and other dairy. And if you find you can't get enough in... More

Ice cream was delicious! Can't mix flavors which is a tease since there are so many interesting choices. Portion is very large for a small. Have a nice patio area to sit outdoors.

We visited Berkey Creamery this past weekend while visiting the college with my son. Have heard many great things about it, so it was awesome to get there. The line was long, but moved really quickly. And let me tell you, it was so worth the wait! Rich and creamy and very flavorful. If you are at The Pennsylvania State... More

A well earned and long standing tradition at Penn State. Do not be discouraged if the line seems long- it will move quickly - and well worth the wait. Just need to know cone or dish and what flavor. All one size and price.

It is worth waiting on the long lines if you like ice cream. It actually goes pretty quickly! Great choices of creamy, fresh and delicious flavors. The toasted almond reminded me of the bar I used to get from the ice cream man when was I was a little girl, but intensified with a much more mature flavor. If you're... More
