The appetizer crab cakes are awful, BUT entree crab cakes outstanding. Soups are good quality and "rustic italian" menu items (chicken and veal) were very good. I'd return.

Wonderful soups and fresh sandwiches. Fresh bar is excellent (salads, etc.)

My parents and in-laws stayed at the hotel and so this was a convenient choice for dinner. Although the restaurant was smaller than I had expected, we all had enough room. It was the menu that was the star here.
They have several soups each day, including ones that are not your standard choices. A fairly extensive set of gluten...

I stated at the Hilton Garden Inn in State College for two nights in November. I was very pleasantly surprised to find that the hotel's restaurant, Harrison's, has gluten free options! This is so nice for guests with Celiac, such as my self.
I was having a hard time deciding between the Quinoa Risotto, the Mesclun Greens with Rosemary Chicken...

So based on reviews from Trip Advisor, my family and I went to Harrison's for dinner. Terribly disappointed. Hostess and waitress were very good. Fresh bread and soup were delightful. Wine very good...but that is where it ends. One meal, a meatloaf, was like being served two hockey pucks with some kind of "sausage" side that was awful. Mahi-mahi special...

We pride ourselves on our service, fresh ingredients and of course, the taste of each menu item that we serve. We strive to give everyone the same positive experience but like all businesses, occasionally we fall short. We took your comments to heart and have...

Great menu, nice atmosphere, excellent service, Nice wine selection. Presentation is fantastic. All at a reasonable price. We are so lucky to have such a place here in Centre County.

My 20-something daughters like this restaurant very much, and so do I. Harrison always has some creative and delicious meals on the menu. The soups are always wonderful. And occasionally I look past the other interesting entrees and order what I think is the very best hamburger I've ever had. When we dropped in for lunch recently, we discovered the...

We did not stay in the hilton, but went to this restaurant based on the trip advisor reviews. We were not disappointed. The food was excellent and good sized portions. I was a little hesitant because hotel restaurants are not usually known for memorable food, but this restaurant appears to be run by an outside source. My daughter had a...

We dined on a Sunday evening. When we first got there the place was emply but a few people showed up before we left. The restaurant is in a hotel so it is somewhat out of the way. We each ordered something a little different and we were all very satisfied. The goat cheese fritters with fig and olive relish...

I dined solo at Harrison's on a recent business trip to State College. I went mid-week and the atmosphere was quiet and pleasant. The staff were attentive and helpful. The food was tasty and imaginative and very reasonably priced. I appreciated the selection of small plates, which worked well given that I was able to sample a variety of foods...
