Stopped here for dinner as I wanted to catch some sports. Nice choice of beer and service was real good. Wings were good but the burger (bison) was quite greasy.

Great bar right in down town with very good bar type appetizers. If I was still in college this would be a great place to drink late night. But its also a really good after work happy hour spot.

Service, location and white chicken chili. This is part of the Corner Room complex and well worth our time, appetite and $.

Always love Pickles! Typical bar food menu. I had a grilled cheese -- it was tasty. The thing about Pickles is it is a nice shaped ground level bar so you get a lot of natural light. A lot of the bars in State College are basements or upper floors and few windows. That's great for getting hammered but Pickles... More

Nice bar to get a quick beer while I walked around State College. Nice set up, not a dump. Open air seating if I remember correctly. Staff was pleasant also.

Have been here twice now, and the drinks are really good, with usually a special for drafts, and a special on a mixed drink or two. The food was interesting variations on traditional pub fare, for example, instead of just hot wings, they had peanut butter wings, which were delightful! Instead of grilled cheese, a three cheese grilled panini with... More

We did not eat, just had a few beers. Prices were good. Bartenders were friendly and efficient (considering how busy they were). Nice place to people watch or simply visit with friends. Off the main path just a few steps. Overall a nice place.

Nothing special here. definitely pub food and it's not bad. Nice assortment of beer on tap and it's always cold. Staff is good but it will be busy when you have any type of Penn St. event. If it's not busy stop in, nothing special, but value for the money.

We had lunch here on a Sunday afternoon. I had the vegetable soup (which was very good) & a small portion of hot wings (which were not very good.) Someone else had gotten the peanut butter wings & allowed me to try those. Now THEY were tasty! There definitely seemed to be enough employees on staff, especially with a lack... More

While out and about doing some shopping we stopped in for some adult beverages. Nice and quiet, many TVs to watch different sports, and no loud that my boyfriend and I didn't have to scream to talk to each other. This was a good afternoon "wet your whistle" kinda place!
