Tried Cascata for first time after passing by for decades, and am still trying to erase from tastebuds. Clams casino were sweet(?) and bitter and watery, companion's escarole soup salty with grey floaters. I knew we were in trouble when usually reliable starters were this dreadful. Fra diablo was way overcooked linguini drowning in watery mess, the mussels mushy or... More

I had driven right by this place many times and not even realized it was a restaurant. It was suggested by a friend several years ago and I've been going ever since. It's quite homey inside and the chef is great and is always willing to add or replace ingredients in a dish to make the customer happy. I am... More

Very good Italian food. Reservations suggested. Not a particularly fancy place but adequate. This restaurant gets very busy after about 7PM so it can get cramped and loud BUT the locals love this place. Make sure you tell the waiter you want the pasta al dente and drained well.

I have passed this place for years and always said..."someday we have to go there". On a Saturday night with reservations for 730, I entered the narrow, uninviting entrance that was roughly set up and compare finding the hostess to "Where's Waldo". I thought Oh Crap! The entrance was crowded with parties with reservations that were late in being seated... More

Visited this restaurant on 8/29/2013. Food wasn't great, but it was good. Prices are reasonable. This is a byob place. Waiter didn't ask if we wanted any soft drinks. Got a half glass of water which I had to ask to be refilled.Waiter didn't advise of any specials. Had a sparse amount of bread without sesame seeds. Italian cheese is passed... More

Our party of 3 turned up without a reservation on a recent Sat night. There was one table left that could really fit 2 comfortably and the owner/host asked if we would mind being a little squeezed. We took the table and it was very close to another table who were good sports about being a little tight. I'd forgotten... More

We went out with some dear friends who raved about Cascata being the best ever Italian food they have had and we absolutely enjoyed it. The chef, Jay is super friendly, warm, and rather generous. The wait staff were very knowledgeable and helpful. The decor is a bit rustic. We started of with fresh bread and a home made garlic... More

The food here is very good, but my husband got the "special" and it cost twice as much as my entree, so I think that it's a little expensive. You'd think that the specials would be a little bit cheaper since they are specials! I had the chicken with asparagus, which seemed a little blah. Didn't really have much flavor... More
