This place is just plain terrible. The food is lousy, the bar tenders don't know what they're doing(at least the 2 I dealt with) and the prices are high. The place is cold and noisy. I can't find anything good to say about this place.

Once the only place right around the corner for a good rack of ribs, take-out or dine-in, this is no longer the case. Portions are smaller, food is consistently inconsistent for higher prices and besides myself, many neighborhood patrons have shared with me their mutual disappointment.

They were famous for their ribs, and that was the reason we went there. Last couple of time the ribs were lousy - stale test, too much fat. It might be a sacrilegious to say that their ribs now worse than one can get at Applebee's or Chilies. And it's a shame.

Was invited to an after funeral get together here. Wow, love the look and the place, and love the ambiance. First thing it reminded me of is Michie's Tavern down in Charlottesville, VA. - because of the Colonial feel of the place. The menu is brief but with many options. Wanted to try several things but had to narrow selections,... More

Took hubby here per request for his birthday. They have my beloved fried pickles! they were really good. We got the mac & cheese for the day. It was equally good. The beer menu is extensive as is the whiskey. Hubby is not usually a whiskey drinker but today he was. He really enjoyed it. Staff really went out of... More

I have to start off by saying that I was never to this restaurant before it was remodeled and revamped so I can't comment on how it used to be compared to how it is now. My first trip to this restaurant was last weekend and it was great! I went with a friend for dinner and drinks; he and... More

Food is good. Ribs are EXCELLENT. My husband likes the Jambalaya. The menu selection is not huge but adequate. Upstairs bar is fun. Service is excellent.

Our second time here. Hubby wanted to enjoy some craft beer for his birthday celebration. First strike - seated in a tiny corner crammed between tables, very uncomftorable. Second strike- super slow service, my wine took about 30 minutes to come out. Third strike - my crab cake came out and it looked like someone stuck their fingers and smeared... More

We had a nice staff luncheon here. The plates that we ordered happened to be small, but they were good. It was quiet at lunch, so we could converse freely in our group of 8. It looked like it would be a fun to hang out by the bar.

Wonderful beer choices....nice varied appetizer selections and the burgers and ribs are delicious. They could use a more frequent menu change for the seasons...but they do offer a varied mac and cheese special daily...sometimes it is fabulous! In the fall the upstairs bar area can become crowded with kids running around which is off putting if there for an "adult"... More
