We recently visited Lancaster PA and, while visiting the outlets, decided to get some dinner. We saw a sign for Good N Plenty so decided to check it out. We walked into a nicely furnished Amish-style building and paid $18 per person for our meal tickets. We were directed to the Dutch room and were seated at a twelve person... more

This place is great-all you can eat comfort food. Had never eaten Amish-style food before, but I had high expectations because I heard they were great cooks. This place lived up to the hype. The best fried chicken I've ever had (and I'm from the South!)-crispy and perfectly seasoned. Creamy whipped potatoes, corn, green beans, buttered noodles, ham, and meatloaf.... more

Having been a frequent traveler to Lancaster County for more than thirty years we've tried many of the buffet or family style restaurants in the area. Friday evening we decided to give G+P a try. The only item that was truly homestyle was the fried chicken. The other two dinner meats were some kind of baked white fish and some... more

Great Food! Great Service!!! If you like good home cooking this is for you!!!! It is served family style so if you do not like to pass the bowl to someone you do not know, take the whole family so you fill up the table. You can eat as much as you want and the variety is tremendous. The best... more

I went with my wife and two small children to this restaurant for lunch. It is family style, and they place you at a table with up to eight other guests. (12 total). The meal is served family style, there was plenty of food, and the plates were refilled without having to ask. Unfortunately, the quality of the food was... more

We had a great experience at this restaurant - the food was good and very tasty. Although it wasn't excellent value for money, the experience was interesting. It is very much a lottery who you are on a table with. We had some very interesting conversations, but the table behind us was silent! There was also not much for the... more

Our family of four found Good and Plenty to be a significant disappointment. #1) As a professional foodservice director, I recognized many of the items served for the pre-prepared or value added items that they were. I thought I was getting something authentic, not something dumped from a can or pulled out of a box and thrown into a fryer.... more

We were refered here mistakenly by my parents, who meant to send us to Plain & Fancy, but we didn't know that until we returned from the trip. I didn't know I would be sitting with strangers while eating, which is fine, but I'm a private person, and was a bit uncomfortable. My husband, on the other hand, could talk... more
