We had heard about this place for a long time and being in this area we knew we had to go. It was so worry the 3 hours drive. You go in and are seating with other people who come in at the same time as you. You start with bread and a few appetizers. Then you go on to... More

Beautiful gift shop as you wait and a sumptuous dinner that features local foods. Great prices!! I think the food was very good, had chicken and potatoes.

Went here to eat on a Saturday evening, and chose the family style option. A little expensive ($22 a head) but, I swear, the food was cooked just as if Mom was back again, cookin' in the kitchen. Meat loaf, ham, chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, corn, green beans, chow-chow, apple sauce, apple butter, cottage cheese, white bread, wheat bread,... More

I stopped here recently for lunch with a group of friends after seeing a show at the Sight and Sound Theater. This restaurant is mainly known for its "family style" dining, which means you sit at a table and all the dishes are brought out to the table to share and pass around. I should mention, they also have a... More

We went to good n plenty restaurant to relive our childhood memories. We were not too excited about eating family style but we remember the yummy food. Well now you can either get family style or order from the menu. We opted to order from the menu. I had a pot roast which was very good and other members had... More

If your looking for fancy food with exotic sauces and seasonings, go elsewhere. This is good old fashioned home cookin' served family style. Chances are your going to get seated with some folks you don't know. For me, that's not a bad thing. When your seated they start you with freshly baked bread and various relishes and salads. Don't eat... More

Dined here since we have been back in the area for many years. The food was decent, but not the quality I remember from the past. Good "family style" dining atmosphere, but lacking in outstanding food. The fried chicken was dry and tasteless, sausage was outstanding, roast beef was average.as well as the desserts. Was definitely overpriced for what was... More

There were many choices of Amish restaurants in our recent travels, and we were delighted that we chose this one! The family style suited us fine; we met a lovely couple that we visited with about the area. The food was phenomenal! We're from the south and still it was some of the best fried chicken we have ever had!... More

As long as you're ok with "Family style" dining in that you may be placed at a table with strangers to fill a table you won't be disappointed by the food or service. Very friendly staff and food is always top notch. Make sure to try the cracker pudding! MMmm

I've had weight loss surgery which makes me ineligible to eat at any buffet. Just can't eat that much food any more. But this restaurant has family dining, in which you take what you can eat at communal tables...or you can order off the menu and take back what you couldn't eat for a later snack. Perfect. The menu option... More
