This restaurant is no longer "The Beverly Hills Tavern;" long-time owner Al sold the restaurant and it's now "Jimmy G's Beverly Hills Tavern." Gone are both the solid menu and the classy atmosphere. We were there yesterday with friends celebrating a retirement. They gave us a private room with it's own bar and fireplace. There was only one waitress and she did a fantastic job of keeping the drinks coming and everyone's checks separate. We thought the food was good and the prices were reasonable. If I ever have a need to have... More

Where to start? Food was ok at best, plastic mugs for your beer, wing sauce was disgusting. I use to come here on a regular basis with the entire family. Visited for the first time since the new ownership and we will not be back. Came for the buffet but apparently the 7 pm buffet now closes at 6 even... More

Went here because it was the last warm day of September so we wanted to have some drinks outside. Service was very slow and I ordered a coors light the keg was kicked and I was never even offered another drink before the waitress moved on to someone else. She then later came over and apologized and gave me a... More

Seafood Combo was more like rubber in sour soup water. I couldn't eat it. The scallops tasted off and you could almost bounce them on the table. The shrimp were like rubber. The fish was some rolled up something that I'm not sure was even cooked through. It was supposed to be broiled, but there was no sign of any... More

Stopped by the patio (Aug 24, 2104) for an evening meal with my with wife. Our meals came out separate. I was finished with my meal (fish tacos) before my wife got her meal. (Crab legs). I guess the management thinks this is acceptable. This was our first visit since it changed hands. Food was good but the fact that... More

I had gone to the Beverly Hills Tavern with friends on a warm summer evening. We wanted a relaxed environment and the opportunity to sit outside. That was exactly what we got. The tavern has abundant parking space and a large outdoor area with a bar and play areas for the young ones. The atmosphere was great the food normal... More

We live in the area but had never been here. I really wanted to like it, seemed like a great place. The atmosphere was great, that was about it. We waited 10 minutes to even have someone greet us. Hostesses were too busy talking to the regulars to deal with people they didn't know. Service started out great, server was... More

Jimmy G's is a great place to go for Sunday Brunch. It's so nice sitting on the front patio of the restaurant by the pond. Food is good; however, breakfast menu is fairly small. A little disappointing that there are no pancakes or french toast on the menu. Otherwise, I would definitely recommend it!
