In the mire of sub standard eating in this area, its as if this place were an Emerald among pavement. Great variety, reliably consistent, and flavors that explode. Its great! And this is also a plus: You can call us crazy, but we've eaten all over the country, from Le Cirque to plate lunches at a fundraiser on a small... More

The food is amazing, once you make your way through the complicated menu. Lots of choices! But it is a small restaurant and is very busy, be prepared to spend more time than you would normally for breakfast, and maybe even wait in line for a table. Needs to move to a bigger spot, and hire more help!

I vowed not to return but I asked my sister-in-law where she wanted to go for her birthday and this is where she chose. Who wants to spend 2 hours!!! for breakfast? I honestly do not know how this place stays in business. The food is mediocre. The menu is ridiculously long and complicated. Each dish has so many ingredients... More

My wife & I recently visited the TomCat Café for the first time. We had heard all the good things but were also warned of a few quirks so we did our research before going and were glad we did. First is parking. There is none except limited on-street parking with several one-way roads so we intentionally parked a block... More

I'm not going to wax poetic on this one--the food is amazing. The restaurant is small, but the menu is huge--with options and with flavor. The Joker's twist on one of my favorite sammies, the Cuban, is fantastic!

I was a little nervous at first when walking though the door but once seated and looking at the six page menu along with the portions they where bringing to other diners I knew I was going to get my money's worth. They have Uno cards at the table to pass the time waiting for your food and at most... More

First waited 30 minutes to be seated. Then waited for service. Then waited for food. Menu was greasy to touch. Food had a lot of flavor but couldn't get past the lack of cleanliness. Like getting food from a street vendor. You can watch your food being made. Not a good idea. Low class good food.

If you want eggs toast and bacon, go to a diner. The tomcat cafe is truly innovative. I am a regular and have never ordered the same thing. Anyplace where there is a wait for breakfast is generally very we'll liked. The tomcat cafe could rival any breakfast place in Philly,NYC or any city for that manner. Always worth the... More

We arrived at 11:30a on a Wednesday and there were a handful of empty tables. It's pretty small/tight inside. At first the service was good, but it took a good 20 minutes for our order to be taken. The waitresses seem like they have no pep in their step. The menu is huge and in my opinion totally unnecessary. After... More
