Good food but prices are high.

This is always a great place to go if your missing the good ol' days. The food is delicious & staff is very friendly. Your order doesn't take long & it's neat to watch them grilling your food. I would stop in here more often but as others have mentioned, the prices are crazy. It cost me over... read more

I grew up in the town of Shamokin and have been eating Coney Island burgers since I was a little girl. Not only are the burgers the same now as they were 30+ years ago, so is the staff! Okay so the prices may have gone up, but what hasn't? My husband and I make the four hour round trip... More

The hype about Coney Island does not live up to its standards here. Me and my girlfriend got 2 hotdogs and 2 hamburgers our bill was $20 and some change. The food had no distinct flavor expect from the piled high onions and horrid smell of the "Coney " sauce. Our service was speedy and so was our exit and... More

This place has been here for almost 100 years! And there is a good reason for it. Simply delicious hamburgers and hotdogs and some of the best coffee ever made! This place is a must visit and is great for repeat customers. Shamokin is so lucky to have had this wonderful place for almost a hundred years!

Been going there since I was a kid and have watched the quality go down and the price go up. Though it is still a Shamokin institution, and you really shouldn,t leave town without trying at least one up and one down with chocolate milk, the quality has in fact gone down. (not their fault though, because of the local... More

Need a late night snack to tie you over till morning...it's a great place to look forward to! The friendly service is hometown happy. The old fashioned red Big Ben's Birch Beer is served to compliment the old style service.

great place for hamburgers and hot dogs with a chile sauce that is THE BEST....i would agree that the prices are high for the size of the hamburgers....the soda that they sell are to my knowledge, only available in that area of pennsylvania and therefore a treat!

Big price Little product, not worth $3.30 for a 1.5 oz. burger. $2.00 for a small bottle of soda. $2.00 for a small chocolate milk or coffee. Not worth it.
