Breakfast is to die for! I wish they were open longer hours so I could enjoy it more during the week, rather than just on the weekends. It's hidden in an alley/st of Sewickley, but totally worth it! I had the french toast and it was so creative using little bageuettes as the toast rather than white bread. My husband... More

Love the French nature of this bistro. Great soups, sandwiches, pastries and breakfast! No reservations required and open on Sundays.

Two visits in the past few months for lunch. Faux French at best. Quiches very average and use ready made shells. For this a small piece is $9+ depending on the type of quiche, however you get one side. Mine was roasted red potatoes which were also only average. The real downer was a small, very small, bit of extremely... More

My husband took me to this cute little restaurant for lunch. I had the goat cheese and leek quiche with bean salad and it was SO GOOD. The best quiche I've had in a very long time. My husband ordered a Greek wrap and enjoyed it too. The only reason I didn't give it an "excellent" rating was that we... More

Great breakfast. Bring an appetite. Homemade everything! They pull their chicken off of roasters each day to make their chicken salad! Fantastic crepes, pancakes, just about any sandwich you can dream up. Great little bistro!

Best homemade pancakes ever! Breakfast is fantastic. A little pricey and VERY NOISY, but you can't beat the food!

Love this cafe/bakery. Unique selections, several quiches and side dishes available. Lots of good looking pastries also. Can be loud when crowded as it's not a big place but it's comfortable and bright.

A friend and I were looking for a place to take our moms to lunch. We found this little "bistro" on a little side street in Sewickley. It was the height of lunch time, so very busy and very noisy. We were fortunate to get a table for 4. Our food was very good-I had the vegetable crepe which was... More

Cafe des Amis is tucked away on a tiny cobblestone street off the beaten path in Sewickley, but it's worth finding. Very casual and a little quirky, but I've never had a bad meal here. Reliably good french-inspired bistro food. The crepes are outstanding, and their green salad topped with toasted goat cheese baguette slices is lunchtime perfection. The ladies... More

Was not impressed with lunch. I taught French cooking classes a long time ago and that Croque Monsieur was a C+. The Orzo & Spinach dish with sauce was dry. The ambiance was not really French. I might try again if in area to give it a second chance.
