Love the atmosphere of this place. There's ample shaded outdoor seating, a great beer selection and both healthy and scrumptious choices. Never had a bad meal there over the years.

Typical old Pennsyvania basement pub. Low lights, low ceilings, ancient looking, warm atmosphere. We only had appetizers, The curried chicken platter and the hummus platter, both were excellent. Great selection of beers. Our favorites were the Baltic Porter and Snake Drive Stout. Prices very reasonable, service very friendly.

Excellent selection of beers. Also local cheese selection and friendly service. Peche and cider were tie for best from the flight, smokehouse bock was least favorite.

The overall experience was enhanced by the weather - it being probably the best day of the year for an afternoon beer. We sat in a small outdoor garden area, which was super pleasant (dog friendly). Tried 4 of their beers, which were available as half pints priced at only $2.00. All styles of beer were exceptional, as good as... More

Quaint little place.. 200-year-old home...Feels like George Washington could walk in at any time. Delightful samples before committing to a local flavor... Delicious artichoke dip in a bread bowl, Tangy Asian chicken salad, Pretty decent beef and ale stroganoff...

I love that it is located in a basement so it just feels very warm and homey. It is a perfect escape from the brutal cold outside, plus the beer is amazing!

This place is wonderful...period. Their vegetarian chili is delicious! I wish I had been able to go during dinner so I could have had one of their beers they brew onsite. I did have their root beer (also made onsite), which is NOTHING like the stuff you get in the grocery store. If you are in the Selinsgrove area, be... More

Beers were delicious! Went there for lunch and the food was local and fresh. Reasonable prices. The atmosphere is warm, inviting, historical. As others have said, it's a small pub but once you find a seat you feel tucked-away and taken back in time. Wonderful!
