Stepping back in time

We loved the historical building with the stone walls, beamed ceiling, and warmth. The food was very good and the staff were great.

A recent stop at this establishment while traveling was more than a little disappointing. It was hard to find something of interest on the menu. The beer menu was varied with very little choice for someone not a fan of microbrews. The atmosphere is quaint but that is about all it has going for it. I'm sure it's popular amongst... More

A perfect way to finish a day's travels. Like an old pub from a century ago. The brews are great and the food is filling and satisfying. Enjoyed the atmosphere, like stepping back to the canal days.

Nice colonial atmosphere and very good food. I don't even drink and still enjoy it here. Other's say their microbrews are tops.

Great meals, beer and wine at a reasonable price. Great atmosphere..... if in the area you should stop by! We once even stopped by late on a Sunday after traveling all day and even though they were getting ready to close they let us in to order! Customer Service to the tops!

The food was lousy (the nicest word I could think of) and the setting was horrible. I can't recommend dining here unless you happen to like paying a lot to eat lousy food in a cramped basement among a bunch of snobby regulars. Otherwise, eat anywhere else.

What a lovely historical building with a small garden patio to enjoy a delicious beer and a bite to eat while your dog makes New friends. I had the brat plate with sauerkraut and potatoes. Very good but they could have been more generous with the sides for the price, I believe it was $12.00. My husband had the vegetarian... More

I ate here for the first time for a business lunch and liked the food and menu so much I went back two days later with some friends. The food is very good. A nice selection of appetizers, salads and sandwiches. Unique combinations that aren't your average bar food. When we went back for dinner, I was disappointed that they... More

Interesting locale - Very limited menu - Friendly Service - they really should expand their menu and get a bit better organized. We ordered and they brought us the wrong meals - twice.

Easy to locate on the main street. We were staying at the Selinsgrove Inn so it was within walking distance. For a Wednesday night it was packed! This is not a huge place which adds to the intimacy. There are some outdoor tables - which were taken. They are set in a little sort of enclosed area with some garden... More
