Quick snack

Shoo fly pie and root beer were great. The staff was not so friendly. Nice little place to grab a snack.

A great tourist spot for anyone going to Lancaster. Cheap souvenirs to take home to your mother in law. Great Intercourse,Paradise and Blue Ball T shirts. Fresh shoo-fly pie and lemonade. Don't forget to get your wife a peanut butter whoopie pie. If you want a true hand made Amish souvenirs wrong place. Worth stopping just to see the wind... More

We stopped here to sample their shoo fly pie based on the previous reviews about the great sample sizes. We also tried their homemade root beer. They gave us a small sliver of pie to sample, then handed us multiple forks to share the sample. We each got about a mouthful. They only sold the whole pies and since we... More

You cannot miss the Dutch Haven which is right on the main road on Lincoln Highway/Highway 30 East. Huge windmills that light up in the evenings sit on top of a squat yellow and white building. Other Amish stores close on Sundays, their day of rest. But, Dutch Haven is one of a few stores that opens on Sundays. Free... More

We stop here on every trip to the Lancaster area. They have a bit of everything and the best shoo fly pie. I am always offered a piece of the pie. My piece comes with two forks so that the both of us could try it. I now try to hide so they have to find me to get the... More

We were on our way to Clearfield and saw the sigh for Shoo-fly pie. Stopped in Dutch Haven. What an adorable little place a great place to buy gifts and souvenirs. And the Shoo-fly pie is amazing!

Souvenir shopping in the heart of Amish country. Items appeared over priced and most were tagged - made in China.

Thought this would be a more authentic Amish store but it mostly had tourist shop items that seemed generic/made in China or items I can get in the wholesale district of NYC. Maybe that's appealing to some? Maybe it's a good place to go with kids? Not sure... One of the employees was really nice and gave us a sample... More
