I usually judge how far I still have to drive on each trip when I reach Jennie's..The last 1/2 hour before we reach the diner we just think about what we will have for a "late" dinner - and the coffee helps me make the rest of the trip. First place I ever had chicken fried steak - loved it.... More

Happened upon this diner while trying to find a open restaurant on a Sunday night. I had the hot roast beef sandwich, and my wife had the hot turkey sandwich. Large portions and it was very tasty.

We are easy diners to get along with and rarely complain but this diner was a challenge. Had fried haddock, sweet pot, salad and hubby had hamburger. After One bite of frozen fish patty fried in old oil and one bite of room temp sweet pot I asked to exchange my meal for a cheeseburger. This is a first for... More

My dad taught me when travelling that, if a place has a parking lot full of semi-trucks, it's GOT to be good; and this place was no exception! Our daughters loved sitting up at the counter and appreciating the way things used to be before Panera Bread and Wendy's. The food was solid, the prices good and the service exceptional.... More

We had eaten at Jennie's on one of our previous trips and found it to be excellent in every way. Again we visited Jennie's on this recent trip and nothing has changed. Great food, great service, great prices and down to earth great home cooking. It was great that it is not a tourist trap and is a classic diner.... More

I had read reviews on Tripadvisor before our trip to Lancaster and was aware of all the other places that we could go. I had also read how good Jennie's was and nostalgic. We had been to the main buffet place on a previous trip and frankly did not feel like spending $50+ and having get up and down for... More

We opted not to go for the free complimentary breakfast at our hotel and passed this diner several times during our 3 day stay in PA Dutch Country. We were happy we did, after reading many great TA reviews we chose to eat here. You get everything....good food great service in a clean friendly atmosphere and reasonable prices. Overall, we... We were looking for a simple down-home place to dine Sunday evening and found it at Jennies Diner. This is a classic dining car, with a classic diner type menu – virtually anything you want! Not being very hungry, we shared the tenderloin tips dinner, along with the mashed potatoes and corn on the cob. The food wasn’t gourmet, but... More
