Very good food and service

We were so glad to find this diner, and escape from the fast-food strip in Lancaster. It looks like it has been there for decades on the outside; clean and cheerful inside. The staff was courteous and friendly, and happy to talk about the food. The grilled chicken salad was excellent (real... read more

Just went there twice......one breakfast and one lunch and loved both. Food is great. Hostess/ owner maybe ??is a little pushy about seating you exactly where she wants but otherwise Great.

Visited the diner in may 2015..New owner greeted you at the door. It was not crowed like it was before the change-over. The food was of average portions. The décor is still old-time..Limited seating. There are better and more comfortable places to eat.

Excellant food at a modest price. You really will go away satisfied and FULL. Prices are perfect for the budget minded. Located right on Route US 30 in the heart of the PA. Amish area with plenty of parking room. Jennie's has a very wide menu to choose from and their service is speedy and neat. If you like the... More

Looked great form the outside, kind of nostalgic but as soon as we walked in the door the cigarette smoke practically knocked us over. Never stayed just turned around and left, choking on the way back to the car.

Aside from fast food it is sometimes hard to find a place open later than 8 - Jennie's is open 24 hrs. Food is plenty and delicious. Service friendly and attentive.

Jennie's have a large selection of entrees and sandwiches. The food is great and the wait staff is attentive. The décor is clean and neat. I love the pictures of our armed forces that are displayed. The food is plentiful and tastes good too.

There's really not much in this area but when I was driving through I drove past this little diner. The seating is limited but the food is typical diner food which was very good. Staff was friendly, it was relativity clean and inexpensive. I would stop by again if I was in the area.

Had breakfast this morning at Jennie's enroute to Lancaster, and this class diner did not disappoint. It's a landmark on Route 30 in Lancaster County and if you are a fan of classic diners--stainless steel, counter, and endless cups of freshly brewed coffee, then you will be happy with the Diner. Bacon and eggs, wonderful home fries, and excellent coffee... More

I have been getting take away meals from this diner for several years now, after passing it on Rt 30 for 49 years. Jennies has been at the same location, I believe, since the southern troops stopped for lunch after the battle for Gettysburg. The Jennie's Diner sign has been there for---ever. We'll I should write; used to be there... More
