It is a 1950s diner serving large portions. The pancakes are actually larger than the plates. Sausage patties are locally produced and delicious. No one was able to finish their breakfast and it held us until it was time for dinner. Will definitely go back.

This is the best diner in Lancaster if not anywhere. Great staff, great food and super atmosphere in an historic railroad car diner. Think I'm exaggerating - Check out the parking lot. Food is really terrific and the portions are generous. It's where the locals and those in the know go.

After driving around the Intercourse ----Bird-in-Hand area looking for a place to eat with an RV full of kids and finding either places that close at 6 or are quite expensive we saw a cute old stainless steel diner with a vertical neon sign: "DINER". A small place but the parking lot was quite full including a big row of... More

When we drove past this place, we immediately turned around and headed back, an old style diner was beckoning. Upon walking in we were met with a smile and friendly attitude, we knew then this place was going to be great - we were not to be disappointed. Our meals were large, service good and atmosphere was perfect. We walked... More

we were told to get the pancakes. My son ordered them and only received one pancake. But it was HUGE. it was overlapping the plate and my son still talks about it a month later. Food was good and very reasonable. It appears that it could use a deep cleaning but most places could use one.

My husband and I enjoy breakfast at Jennie's whenever we are in the area. He loves the classic old-time diners... and this one fits the bill wonderfully. Though decor a bit worn, everything else is a winner. Friendly staff. Delicious breakfasts. HUGE portions, w/ pancakes larger than the plate. Reasonable prices. Try it!

The place is small, the person who welcomes you sometimes not in the mood to do so, but the food is good, diner food, and the waitress we had very friendly and helpful. I loved the chicken fried steak, though the portion was too large to finish. Beef tips over noodles were good, too. The chicken noodle soup was wonderful.... More

The portions at this dinner are HUGE. Make sure you come with a big appetite or plan to share. Make sure you have the daily menu or a local dish and you will not be sorry.

Classic Americana. Jennie is a 24-hour family-run diner. No gourmet food here. Just plain simple home-style cooking. We arrived in our hotel way past 10 PM so after checking-in, I asked the front desk fellow where's the nearest place to get a quick bite. He pointed us to Jennie's with a caution, "Don't be afraid to get in. It's a... More
