You had a choice of ordering off the menu or having the buffet. We went to look at the items offered in the buffet and chose it. Everything was delicious. My favorite was the chicken soup. My wife couldn't get over the vegetable beef soup and the beef stew which reminded her of her mother's cooking when she was a... More

This is the second time I visited the Amish area and the second time I ate at Dienner's. I found the food so good last time that it was the one place I wanted to eat. The Amish buffet is perhaps smaller than some in the area, but has a good variety/selection of food to choose from. Well, the food... More

We stopped here for lunch with a group after visiting Sight and Sight Theater. The price was perfect for soup & salad, a good meal, beverage & dessert. The staff was very hospitable. We did have to wait about 45 minutes, but there were cute shops nearby to explore, so that went by quickly, and it was worth the wait.

Typical 'Amish' style buffet and there is nothing that sets this buffet above the other Amish buffets in the area. Food was mass produced and luke-warm. The mash potato tasted like it was from a packet, as did the mac and cheese. The green beans and corn tasted like they were from a tin rather than fresh produce. There was... More

We frequently partake in Dienners lunch buffet and thoroughly enjoy the quality and the variety of foods, both hot and cold entrees. Unfortunately, after waiting 30 minutes for a table this past Saturday morning, we partook of the breakfast buffet, which consisted of a very unhealthy mix of fried mush, pancakes, hash browns, french toast, biscuits and gravy, cinnamon rolls... We tried a few different restaurants in Lancaster County, and this was the best, by far. The buffet selection is not as varied as some, but everything was very tasty. It is a great bargain for the price, but most important was the quality of the food. They do an excellent job of keeping hot food hot. It is hard... More

For real Amish cooking and kind and pleasant staff, you need to treat yourself. You can order off the menu or enjoy one of the tastiest, buffet, salad bar and desert bar which will satisfy your pallet at lunch or dinner. All are kept fresh and clean and the wait will tell you that this is a haven for the... More

We had attempted several times in the past to get to Diener's, but they close early. Finally made it and just as we were told, "it's the best...you won't be disappointed". We went for dinner (closes at 6PM during the week); they serve breakfast and lunch too. Some of us tried the buffet; others ordered a la carte. Everyone was... More

We had the dinner buffet, and especially liked the ham loaf, which isn't something you can usually find. Everything was hot, and service was attentive. Be warned that they do close early ... it appeared that if you got your name in by 6:00, you were good, but saw several groups turned away after that (open till 6 through the... More
