Get there early during the summer months. It's a small place with excellent food and friendly service. Amish owned and run. Lots of locals eat there. On 896 close to Sight & Sound

This small local restaurant serves 3 meals/day - but each for only a limited time period. Servers are all Amish or Mennonite - very polite women who know the menu well and are willing to answer any questions you might have. Service is very prompt and the food is delicious!

We stopped at around 4:30 and we were the only ones in the restaurant & by the time we left it was packed. The servings are generous and very tasty. The fish & chips, ham loaf, and turkey platter were delicious. The eclair pudding was awesome. The only hiccups were the strawberry and blueberry pies. The fillings were delicious but... More

My husband had the fried chicken and I had the roast turkey with stuffing and great gravy. The homemade rolls with the peanut butter fluff was yummy. We were too full to order dessert! Yes the waitresses are authentic Amish. Yes...Amish wear name brand sneakers! And the Amish work where there is electricity but they do not have it in... More

This was our best dining experience in the Lancaster area. The food was prepared perfectly and very good. The service was also great. It is small but well worth the weight. We loved the fried chicken.

This food just charmed me away to the delicious food that my grandmother used to make! Tasty, delicious and - at least it felt, i have no way of knowing - authentic. While the food was amazing, the atmosphere was not so much. For an Amish restaurant I think they should go all the way and at least in the... More

We loved the roast beef and ice cream! My husband Chris and I loved the service as well. We were there twice in one day for ice cream and dinner. Our first waitress Mari Beth was sweet and we wish her best of luck on her new teaching job. Miriam who was our waitress at dinner was sweet.

My husband and I were looking for something other than the smorgasbords that are numerous in Lancaster. The Clerk at our hotel told us about Katie's Kitchen. She gave it a great review as a local, said she ate there at least once a week. You can choose from wraps and salads to real Amish recipes. We both chose Amish... More

We ate here on recommendation from the staff at Amish Villiage. Every bite of food was heaven. We finished our meals with the best pies we have ever eaten. I would say this is a must go to place to eat.

We traveled to Lancaster to visit family. Our first day choice for breakfast was Katie's Kitchen since I had been here for dinner two years ago. The food is very good with many selection to choose from. My favorite was "bird in the nest" (egg in a hole in the middle of the bread) with a side of potatoes (yummy... More
