Had a wonderful time and the food was fabulous. Our waitress Mari Beth was sweet and we wish her the best of luck as teacher in the upcoming school year!

Katie's is a "must visit" during our annual trips to Lancaster County. One difference this year was we joined a local friend for breakfast (it's where the locals eat)--we usually have dinner. As some have mentioned, construction makes access a little challenging this summer, but good things usually require some effort... we thought things looked "spiffier" than last year--perhaps some... We went to Katie's Kitchen our first night in Lancaster because it was close to where we were staying, and we had had a day very full of driving. We were tired and probably a bit cranky. We snapped out of our moodiness real fast! What quick and friendly service. And the food was very good. Yummy rolls! I swear,... More

The service was excellent, food was good, and prices very inexpensive. We took a buggy ride and asked our driver for a place to go that was real Amish food. He suggested Katie's kitchen and we were not disappointed!

We visited at 6:30 PM on a Tuesday evening and had to wait for seating. We were seated at a small table for two as were another couple across from us, where the seating reduced the access to the emergency exit! We had to wait for service and food as there was only two waitresses. The small dining area was... More

We ate lunch here last week and the food was fantastic, as usual. Our waitress was wonderful especially when a glass of water gift spilled at our table. She immediately and efficiently cleaned it up and made sure our food wasn't ruined.

Katie's is a nice restaurant to stop and experience homemade entree's that are prepared and served by the locals for the locals, and some of the more adventurous tourists; those that want to experience a home town restaurant. Servers are courteous, helpful, and knowledgeable about the foods and their preparation.
