REALLY A POPULAR PLACE

After reading reviews here about Katie's Place, we decide to stop there on our spring trip to Lancaster County. The parking lot was packed and there was a line to be seated. My husband Jim and I had lunch at Katie's Kitchen on Saturday-April 11, 2015. I ordered the cheeseburger soup and an Amish quesadilla with chicken, cheese and mushrooms. My husband had the steak wrap. The cheeseburger soup was one of the best tasting soups I have ever had. The quesadilla was also excellent. My husband also enjoyed his steak wrap.... More

We've been there before - but Katies is a must visit for us. Good quality food - breakfast is especially good. Sometimes it takes too long to get served, but hey - its not just any fast food. This is good cooking.

Hearty breakfasts will be found here, even if you have severe food allergies such as myself! They were very accommodating to ensure my meal was safely prepared. The restaurant is very small, so you may need to wait. However, the wait is worth it!

This is a great alternative to the franchises on Rt 30. We had the Turkey Melt (butter grilled) and fish sandwich (lightly breaded) and enjoyed them both. We left with a bag of home made chips.

Good food and service for a fair price. My beef on buttered noodles was excellent and my wife enjoyed her ham loaf and buttered noodles. This is more of a locals' restaurant than a tourist place.

After trying some of the buffets and smorgasborgs in the area over the years, we tried to find more local places to eat this trip. We passed this little restaurant on the way to the theater the night before, but it was closed when we came out, so we came back earlier the following night. There was only a short... More

By the look at the reviews I must have been there at a bad day. My food was not good. I got the meatloaf, mashed potatoes and baked beans. The red stuff on the outside of the meatloaf was disgusting, If the mashes potatoes were real then the cook should be shot. The so-called "home made baked beans tasted like... More

While this restaurant does get crowded, the food is well worth the wait. The servers are friendly and the prices are great. If you have the time, I would come here!
