this was mph first time at a real amish establishment. My wife has had other opportunities . This was outstanding. The food was homemade, authentic and real. The service was wonderful. It was nice to know we were patronizing a family business. We were in Strasbourg for 3 days and ate dinner here one night and lunch one day. We... More

The menu is simple but anyone can find something to their liking. WE really like the fried chicken but their meat loaf is a pretty close second. Deserts are sinfully good, the second glass of (fresh and cold) milk is free and the service, by local Amish young ladies, is very friendly. Again, nothing fancy, but you really can't ask... More

My wife and I enjoyed eating at Katie'. I chose this restaurant off the reviews of Trip Advisor and was not disappointed. Really cannot add to the already many reviews as they reveal it's authentic "home cooking" (with the exception of mash potatoes they were instant - my wife does home style cooking so she could tell). Their desserts are... More

Great choices for lunch. A welcome change from the many smorgasbord meals offered in the area. I had a turkey Reuben with homemade chips. Very tasty. My friend had corn soup and a BLT. Frequented by Englishers ( that is what the Amish call the non-Amish) and Amish. The owner is Amish. I would go back . Clean and welcoming.... More

We were immediately seated and had to wait only 10 mins for a delicious homemade dinner. The roast beef was so tender and fried chicken was delicious. If you arrive near closing time, however, many items may not be available. The Amish servers were so polite and gave great service.

We took a great tour at the Amish Village and this place was recommended. It was great homemade food at reasonable prices. We have been in the area many times and never heard of this place. Won't be the last time.

On a recent visit to Lancaster County we were looking for a restaurant with great cooking that wasn't a buffet, as we are not big fans of those. This is the real deal. Great food, service and prices. It fills up quick so don't eat lunch and get there around 5 or before for a great dinner! We loved it... More

We discovered this little restaurant on the road to the Sight and Sound Theater, checked the reviews and we were not disappointed. We had supper on the first night and lunch on the second day we were in the area. We had the same waitress both days who was friendly, efficient and the service was excellent and fast. The food... We are lovers of comfort foods but this was a true disappointment. The reviews were good so we tried the chicken pot pie special. There was no crust, only shreds of chicken and a trace of dumpling and all in a gelatinous thick sauce. My meatloaf was barely warm and the waitress took it away for 2 minutes and returned... More
