Great food. Nice menu. Prices are so reasonable. Lots of "Amish" type food along with burgers and wraps. All the Amish wait staff was so friendly. Will visit again and again!

We decided to give Katy's a try. There were so many interesting places to chose from. I had the chicken pot pie which is really chicken , gravy and noodle/dumplings. It was good and I even got two bones to prove it was real chicken! The cole slaw was excellent. You get a roll with a peanut butter spread which... More

During our visit of the Amish village, named as Bird in Hand, our guide indicated us that this restaurant is an authentic Amish cooking. Thus, we decided to give it a try, and we were not disappointed at all. All the staff in the restaurant had their Amish clothing, giving authenticity to the name of the restaurant. In addition, their... More

We like to go to the local fare rather than chain restaurants. I ordered roast turkey, my daughter ordered ham loaf, kids had fish & chips and chicken wrap. Everyone was happy with their food and it was somewhat reasonable. I believe the wait staff are Amish, but their dresses under aprons looked a bit English. We would go back... More

An extremely tasty meal, at a very reasonable price. It was nice that all of the servers were Amish, and were willing to share a little bit about their culture. Overall though, it was about the food, and it was well worth it!

We went for breakfast and enjoyed our meal. The pancakes, eggs, toast, scrapple, potatoes and omelets were all very good, but not exceptional either. The coffee was a bit weak and the omelet was made with canned mushrooms (a pet peeve of mine), but the pots of strawberry jam on the table was good enough to make up for several... More

It was very busy and chose not to wait a half hour for a table, so sat at the counter. Met some nice people. Food was excellent--I had the Tuesday special and husband had meatloaf. Salad very fresh, peach pie tasty. Portions too big to handle. Waitress Barb was very nice and all the waitress were extremely busy but helpful.

How wonderful it is to be inside of a different life for a while! Absolutely authentic Amish restaurante, served by young amish people with a big and warm smile in their faces. Excellent homemade food, tastes great. The place is clean and a little too bared and plain for my own taste but you have to remember where you've chosen... More

Authentic Amish. Please no pictures. They are not dressed in costume. Their smiles are warm, inviting, and genuine. The food is homemade and carefully prepared. I have lived in Lancaster County for a year, visited 5 years in a row prior to the official move. Being a chef myself, I know quality, comforting food that is worth the price. All... More

Authentic Amish. Good food, sweet people. Not open Sundays. Much of the food tastes homemade but not the ice cream. Apple dumplings sure are good.
