Very good service and plentiful menu

Very friendly nice place on Bucks County. Excellent service. Party for 20 people and you never feel that kitchen is behind on anything. Some dishes are better then others, as usual. I love pasta purses at Uva. Very good!

My 17 yr old son decided to make reservations at Uva for Mother's Day since my husband was away. We arrived and was quickly seated. An elderly waiter Steve immediately informed us that he 'might' be our waiter. He spent the entire time gazing around while telling us the specials.... He was very dis-interested and seemed to be bothered. I... More

I thought the food was very over priced and just average. I had the spinach gnocchi with shredded veal. It was very heavy and way too salty. The appetizer we chose was shrimp cocktail (not on menu, it was a special). We were given two shrimp and a few pieces of crabmeat for a whopping 15.50? I would not recommend... More

I appreciate your comments I Thank you. I will review our pricing policies with my kitchen, although we follow pretty strict industry standards. Hate giving you an economics class but we use a cost factor of three. Cost of product times 3. 16 ounces of LUMP crab meat is 28.00, and U10 shrimp our costs are 1.49 each. Cost of... More

Tried UVA for the first time on a Saturday night. Made a reservation a few weeks ahead of time. Greeted warmly, seated quickly, and then felt rushed through the meal. Plates were cleared before others were finished and staff seemed impatient to turn the table. The food was amazing but is diminished by the feeling that we had to skip... More

When meeting friends for lunch, I try to find some place local, but quality all around. What I like the best is that the food is always made fresh and it depends on the market to help decide what's on the menu. We had a great lunch, lots of time to talk and catch up, and enjoyed the ambiance.

Thrilled that this place opened up. We've needed some upscale restaurants in town and Uva fits the bill. Attentive service, homemade pastas, yummy veal chop (not cheap, but well worth the splurge). Best of all: byob. Been there with my wife alone and with friends. Always good. Highly recommended.

The food is very good and the service is very good. The only problem is you are sitting on top of one another. The tables are so close that you can't walk through. There is a singer there making it hard to have a conversation with your friends.

Our first visit over a year ago was marred by loud, off-key live entertainment. This time everything was just perfection - service, food, and ambiance. The early "presto" menu offers a weekday 4-course meal for $21. One of us had the salmon, and one had veal marsala. Both were wonderful. We'll be back for more.

We enjoy this restaurant almost every weekend.By far the best area restaurant! We celebrated Valentines Day this past Saturday at UVA and it was fantastic. As usual the food was spectacular, service impeccable and Paula and Sal created a perfect Valentine setting. Vince sang throughout the night....he is as good a singer as you will ever hear locally. Dining out... More
