I had the best buffalo chicken salad ever here. My wife had the steak salad and she really enjoyed it also. The waitress was friendly and attentive. If only it were closer to home.

Had dinner with friends a few times when meeting in that end of the county. Good choice for a decent meal. Caution on the seasoning- asked for no garlic on the salmon, so they slathered it on the asparagus instead. Servers are always friendly but tend to get a bit overwhelmed when busy. Overall, a decent choice, but not one... More

Went for a special birthday dinner. The menu has so much to choose from, so everyone will find something that they like, from soups, salads, seafood, beef , chicken pasta & chef specials. We enjoyed all the food we had & will go there again.

We had a terrific waitress and the food was served hot and delish! We recommend the restaurant to friends.

Pretty much your standard beef and beer kind of place. Food was good but about the same as the local chains such as Texas Roadhouse and O'Charley's. A friend ordered a margarita which seemed to be all ice with little liquid in it. But then he is really choosy. I had a craft brew which was pretty good.

We were four friends spending one night in Red Lion, and the Great American Saloon was recommended to us by our B&B host. We all left the place very happy - and very full! The portions were really big, but happily also really good. The steaks were prepared exactly as wished, and the meatloaf was good too. The only tiny... More

Joined our good friends Linna and Woody Walker for dinner. It has been several years since we visited this nice restaurant. On Woody's recommendation, my husband tried the ribs and found them to be superb - tender, falling off the bone with ample BBQ sauce. I had the French onion soup and a taste of my husband's ribs. He enjoyed... More

I always choose independently owned businesses especially when the food is usually top notch. The pasta dishes are especially good. The decor is very eclectic and fun and they have just added a patio for summer. Can't wait to try it.

It's a WOW interior, industrial like, and saloon like. I had fish and chips and he had the black and white wrap. We shared with each other. The fish was nice and crispy and a large serving. Lots of fries and a side of slaw. His wrap could have used more chopped steak but the flavor was excellent. He also... More

I've never had a bad meal at the Saloon! I highly recommend the summer pasta or the steak Louisiana. They do get very busy during the peak hours, but the service usually doesn't suffer.
