The beef is the best in the county. The food is always fresh. The only downside of this place is the wine list.

A modest setting that houses a delicious, friendly, welcoming restaurant. It is owner (both husband and wife) operated and their care is evident. The mussel appetizer is simply the BEST mussel dish that I have ever eaten. Other guests praise everything they've eaten, but I never get beyond a double order of the mussels. Thursday night burger night is also... More

The chairs are very uncomfortable; wooden & short seat platform. My steamed mussels were bad. Hopefully, I will not get sick. Weiner Schnitzel too chewy. Calamari appetizer and fresh bread was very good. Server was very nice. Atmosphere outdated.

Had dinner here on Tuesday evening - what a great time we had. This place has a great group of people working there! The chef / owner is very knowledgeable - he discussed how they hot smoke their salmon which stays juicy and warm over a bed of fettucini in a light cream sauce. From 'soup to nuts' this place... The service was good, the food was ok......... The French fries were cold !! The wine was horrible, very cheap wine which was sold for a lot of money. The waitress came so many time to ask is everything was ok that we finally told her that the wine was really bad...... She must have told the owner. He came... More

I have been dining at Frank and Diannah's Arbor Inn for years and I've never been disappointed. The restaurant is intimate but not crowded. It's one of the few fine dining options left in Berks but it's not pretentious. Everything is made to order from high quality, local when possible, ingredients. I suggest opting for one of the daily specials,... More

We went for the one night a week offer of "burger night". We arrived at 730pm and was informed no more burgers. We decided to stay anyway. We ordered a Mojito-nope, no mojitos. Ordered a Stella Artois ( ads in the place for it).... "Sorry we don't serve Stella". They forgot to serve me my salad. Finally, 1.5 hrs after... More

Every meal I have had there has been superb. They serve very wonderful food and have specialty nights which are fantastic. I have never been disappointed. Small place run by husband and wife. Gourmet food the best I have had in the area.

Stopped by for Saturday early dinner on our way to a game with another couple - for the décor, I was expecting burgers, ribs and chicken - typical Reading fare. I was shocked at the diverse and interesting menu, and the food did not disappoint. Veal Milanese and the Almond-crusted pork loin were our entrees - both were delicious! Our... More
