Friends of ours took us here. The outside is amazing to look at and then inside it is so warm and romantic. We enjoyed the food here as well as the atmosphere. I had there special, which was the red snapper with carrots and couscous. It was amazing. I decided to try their lobster mac and cheese too and that... More

The pub area needs help with the acustics. The noise bounces off the hard surfaces. Beautiful outside area, firepit sitting area is real classy nice place for cocktails.

The ambiance and food is outstanding. Wine, beer, and cocktail menu has something for everyone! The deserts are to die for (creme brûlée) ! I would highly recommend Stokesay Castle to anyone! Especially, The Lords dining room to those whom appreciate the art of fine dining food, wine, and service.

Live music sometimes. Huge fire pit allows for year round cigar time. Experienced "private dining" for the first time here as well. Private room with a... More

The big comfy sofas are fun to sit on with friends or snuggle with someone special. Great romantic atmosphere. Food was a little expensive but worth every penny. The castle is gorgeous.

I love Stokesay and have for a long time. It's a wonderfully beautiful old world castle nestled on a beautiful plot above the city of Reading. Once inside, the service, fare, and drink are all well done. Enjoy a magnificent night out and a wonderful experience that will take you back to days long gone.
