Our family was gathering in the Reading area for a Celebration of Life luncheon for our Mom. She was someone who loved fine dining, pretty settings, coziness. Our theme was Live, Laugh, Love. I saw the reviews and the photos and HOPED I was making the right decision. We are in Boston so there as no way to truly check... More

I have been to Knights Pub at Stokesay Castle many times and it is always a good time. The floor to ceiling windows make for a great atmosphere any time of year. Great place for special occasions as well as a night out with friends

This hidden, reinvented treasure has been a part of Reading for many decades past. The perfect spot for weddings, reunions or just gatherings with good family & friends. Go back in time with a modern , yet classic castle atmosphere.

We have been a couple of times. The food has never been great but this last time for brunch was the worst. Not only was the bartender unfriendly but they got our order wrong and it took 45 minutes to come out.

The location is lovely, the building are impressive with wonderful old world feel rooms. The food is interestingly prepared but IMHO extremely overpriced. We are not unaccustomed to paying the price for exceptional dining experiences. However, even compared to big city prices in highly rated and nationally awarded restaurants these prices are way out of line. I am sure the... More

Enjoyed a couple of drinks and some great appetizers with some friends. It is a beautiful atmosphere and very friendly and accommodating staff. The manager Lewis even came over and spoke to us, to see how everything was going. There was a wedding going on and they had a 3 piece orchestra playing that could be heard in the pub.... More

My husband and I had dinner at The Knight's Pub (a more casual part of the castle). The service was very good and the food was excellent. Our meals were well prepared, the servings were large, and the desserts were wonderful. The castle is in a very beautiful park-like setting. We will be back !

Under new ownership, this restaurant, in its newest iteration, is delightful. Our summer Sunday evening dinner was delicious and the atmosphere outstanding. There was a varied menu, great wine and cocktail selection—and very attentive service.
