Don't forget about this gem

This is a historical and beautiful banquet hall/formal restaurant and pub. Often, when going out to dinner, this gem is forgotten about in choice selection, as it is a bit out of the way, but it is worth the visit. Its off the beaten track , in a lush landscaped setting , built to look like a castle replete with battlements etc. and a menu that's very well thought out and executed. Somewhat pricey but it will make everyone happy. The drinks are very well done and put together and the wait staff will make you feel like a prince.

The service was excellent although there were not many people there at the time we were being served. I highly recommend the Crabby Pretzel Melt. We also enjoyed the open atmosphere with all of the windows open. We will definitely be returning.

This pub is part of a historical castle. It is a massive, beautiful stone, majestic place! Upstairs is fine dining....then downstairs in the back is a pub called "Knights Pub". It is open air in the summer. Very large bar. But very noisy. The acoustics are awful!! Till you leave the place, you will end up with a scratchy throat... More

Husband & I arrived at Knight's Pub approx. 7 PM on a Sunday in early May. We both ordered the beef pot pie dish & waited over 30 minutes for our meal. When it arrived both dishe's centers were frozen solid. Server and shift manager very apologetic and attentive. We did make another selection which was excellent, but no discount... More

The first time I came to Stokesay was after I had lived in the area for a few years, as I had to wait for its reopening. My friends brought me there for lunch at the Knight's Pub. The food was very good and I knew right away that I would be returning. I loved that you can also explore... More

The place was awesome in décor. The people were attentive in every way. I and all the rest of the party had a great time. They had picked us up in a limo and brought us back home. There were eight of us. The meal and the limo were all included in one price. To include the drinks too. We... More

Beautiful views, large expansive room with large windows that open. Noise level - loud. Accostics not good. We sat on the upholstered benches, they were so soft that we felt like "Lily Tomlin" in the big chair. Tables wide so very hard to hear conversations. Not sure why it took so long to get a table, had to ask twice,... More
