Good home cooking'!

I love that I can order a simple sandwich and it come out with homemade bread! Very casual dining with a lot of good home cooked meal choices. And it's in the country where the locals go!

We had lunch here with another couple a few days ago. Food was very good, although my tuna salad sandwich was not made with Hellman's Mayonnaise which is my favorite! Sandwich was huge, so saved half for later. Our waitress was incredibly courteous; it was a joy to have her with us.

Food was good and served hot. Nice menu choices. Wait staff was friendly and knowledgeable. A little out of the way but a nice drive through the countryside!

Read a few reviews before choosing here. A bit further away with a lovely picturesque drive to it but well worth it. Highly recommend. As a Brit it was great to have a meal without lots of salt and sugar - just real flavour.

Food was good. Chicken croquettes were very tasty. Service a little slow with refills. And they were out of mashed potatoes, so we were all a little bummed about that. But the rolls and jelly made up for it. Definitely worth a trip, but go earlier in the day, they run out of things closer to dinner.

Good fast service and reasonably priced. Sandwiches, soups, and wraps. Not too busy on a Saturday. Would return. No changing tables in the bathroom.

I was on a three night bus trip to Lancaster County for a tour of Amish country and two shows, "Joseph" at Sight and Sound Theater and "Inspire" at The American Music Theater. Our tour director had scheduled us for a Family style dinner at the Hometown Kitchen Restaurant. Our bus was greeted by a restaurant employee who assisted with... More
