Miss the old Coney

It still had a bit of the old town taste, but definitely a different feel about the place. I'd still go just for heartburn that follows a good chill dog.

If you want to get sick, then this is the perfect place for you to eat at. They do have decent food but for some reason after eating it, you are on the toilet for the next two days.

When you are in the mood for a "Coney Burger or Coney Dog" you have to go to The Coney Island. There are a lot of memories packed between those rolls.

I find my myself stopping here occasionally and I wonder why. Then it dawns on me.... This is exactly like the places I used to hit as a kid. It's not fancy, the service staff is pretty sad but you know what? The place is just fun. The Coney Burgers are just like the ones I remember as a kid... More

Me and my mothe stopped in for a quick bite. The "women" behind the county looked like she took a bath in salts , poor hygiene and horrible odor to her and the building itself. The ceiling look dirty and falling apart. The color reminded me of a mental hospital or toilet after a long night of drinking. We sat... More

My wife and I stopped in for lunch the girl behind the counter had zero personality, no greeting no thank you. OK got our food went to a table and it looked like it wasn't wiped all day, had to get a napkin and wipe up the onions it was disgusting, really had me wary of the food. Downtown had... More

We stopped for a quick bite at the rt. 209 location. We were presented with hotdogs that had probably been rotating on the warmer a little too long. There was something about the flavor of the chili for the chili dog that wasn't appealing. There was nothing special about the atmosphere--it was kind of dirty feeling. It was quick. It... More

Stopped at the West Market (Rt 209) location after a brewery tour for a quick bite to eat on the way out of town. The hot dogs were good, but I certainly have had better in my travels (Yuccos in Allentown is more my style). Then again I also have had worse, so if I am in this area again... More

Eat here every time I come back for a visit. Not anymore, after having eaten the two worst hot dogs I have ever eaten. Dry hard buns and hot dogs that seemed like they had been sitting somewhere for hours. Let me clarify that I am at the Yorkville location and not downtown Pottsville. Had two burgers at the Mall...
