The one shining star in our visit was the server. Jacquelyn was attentive and friendly and did her best but the poor quality, ill prepared food and lack of caring management made this our first and last visit to the Brick House. When you walk in, the first thing you notice is the overwhelming cacophony of patrons and bar clatter.... More

For carrying my musical instrument inside. Was told to "leave it in my car." So, I should leave my $40,000 bassoon in the car in Pottstown AND in cold weather?! RUDE! People carry larger purses, yet I was told one cannot bring large bags inside. Would like this policy listed on their site if that's the case. I wouldn't have... More

I've been here several times and have always enjoyed the food. The service is average, but it's a good place to meet friends for a casual dinner because you know you will get a good meal. Will go back.

Pretty average bar-restaurant but hard-surface walls make dining an unpleasant noisy experience. I can't fault the food, but I'm not going back.

Yes we arrived for dinner and were told "you've got 30 minutes to eat and leave because we had our child with us" really? We let's start; we went thru 2 sets of dirty silverware. The bar was busy, the restaurant was dead. We were the only family in there. It's noisy and somewhat difficult to carry a conversation .... More

Great atmosphere, converted old bank. Slow, and pricy, but like it. Good food, nice gathering spot with friends

Have eaten here 4 times. The food is actually very good. The service is the worst. I've seen people sit at the bar and leave 10 minutes later after not even being acknowledged. The last time there sat a a table with two friends. Place was not crowded but took more than 5 mins for a server to take our... More

We had an awful, ridiculous experience at The Brick House on Monday. We decided to take our two young daughters there for the Wing and Chicken Cheesesteak special that they had advertised on a sign just in front of the restaurant. We arrived just about 5pm. Our server was friendly and came to take our drinks. We told her we... More

OK for a quick lunch and/or a few beers and food and to watch a game. Bar scene is energized especially when there is a good game on.

It's always something different every time you go. They run out of a certain beer, or the service is mediocre (even tho there are always lots of servers), or they get the order wrong, or you wait a long time for another drink. Food is usually good, but that doesn't seem to erase the other things.
