Time to change

Over the years we have noticed the restaurant change some when it can to cleanliness and service. The food is great, when they prepare it correctly or give you the food you actually ordered. They have a nice little bar and the French fries are over the top, quantity wise. We have always eaten here... read more

share the fries! One order can feed the entire place.... Great food, always get their cheesesteak or even cheesesteak salad! Their soups are very good! Been there often & will continue to do so....

I am an AT thru hiker who stopped in Port Clinton to spend the night and have a meal. I wish I had skipped Port Clinton and instead went a short ways up the road to Hamburg. The prices of the restaurant in the Port Clinton Hotel are ridiculous for what you actually receive. I ordered just a bowl of... More

If you are hiking the AT, steer away from the PC Hotel. For $65.00 a night, in a town which has nothing (unless you need sugar from the Peanut Shoppe), it's the only restaurant in Town (3 C's Rest is closed for "emergency repairs"), you don't get much. You still have to pay for washing clothes ($5.00/one load). Better go... More

title says it all. This place is old, dirty, and the people aren't even very friendly. The food is okay, but to be honest, you can get OK food anywhere. Probably not worth going to…

We arrived after hiking for 12 hours through a foot and a half of snow in the freezing rain. Instead of allowing us to place our packs in the hallway of the hotel we had to put them outside the door. In that neighborhood it did not seem wise to leave them unattended. the hotel manager/bartender made sure the entire... More

OMG! This was a fun stop over and sweet smiles all the way. Thru hikers haven and cheese steaks top the charts,, but the fries are too much for one so be ready to share. And the Seafood is excellent to a fault. thanks see ya for Wednesday Wings and Yings

Heard about this restaurant and decided to give it a try last week after a gymnastic competition on Pottsville. Located in a small coal town, on a very busy highway, we were surprised to find the place packed with diners. It is located close to Cabelas and most of the placed to eat nearby are fast food or same old... More

There claim to fame is there cheese steaks. portions are stupid large but the quality is fair at best. Prices are cheap. The high note is that they have a decent beer selection and tap choices were perfect temp. The fries were awesome and the service was good. And they have onsite showers, a laundra-mat, and a trailer for rent... More

Decided to eat at the hotel after visiting the awesome Peanut Shop next door (seriously - it's a must-see). Been past many times but never in. It's your average coal country bar/restaurant. We were seated relatively quickly. The waitress gave us a few minutes to peruse the menu and was able to answer all of our questions regarding food ingredients,... More
