Tried to make reservations here for early Mother's Day (5/10/14). I was told by the person who answered the phone that they would not take our party of 10 unless we were willing to split up. This meant supposedly sitting in separate rooms. The reason you go out for Mother's Day is to be with family (not separated from them).... More

Really enjoyed our visit to Port Clinton Hotel. The portions are huge and the food was very good. I had a cheese steak and my girlfriend had a cheese steak salad. So much that we brought home a lot of the salad and fries. Sat at the bar and the staff was great.

I make a quick stop here for dinner with my nephew after a Cabela’s run and left feeling like I ate enough for a week!! There is nothing fancy about this place; it is just an old hotel/bar/restaurant serving pub food at fair prices for people who are hungry. If you want atmosphere and a fancier menu, look elsewhere or... More

We didn't like it here at all. It looked like it use to be a good place. But our food was awful. We ate some of it but threw the rest away. The owner was not friendly at all. Our food tasted like it was in the microwave just a little bit too long. Paid up, never to return.

You know the kind of place that could be very good but the staff put a bitter taste on it? Yeah, that's this place. We were at Yuenling Brewery and our tour guide recommended we eat here. No we did not go to Cabela's, even though this restaurant advertises it's proximity to it. We stopped in for lunch. You can... More

A friend of ours asked if we would take her to the Port Clinton Hotel for lunch. She said she heard so many good things about the place. Arrived to a wait at the door at 1:30 on a Sunday. Thought that would be a good sign, but come to find out it was because the food takes so long... More

Frankly I am surprised to see bad reviews here but I do realize not everyone has the same experience. We have eaten here on numerous occasions through the years and have never had one bad meal here. For us they are always consistent. We always tell others about the place when they say they are heading to Cabelas and 9... More

The food is usually good to great. Portions are plentiful. Price is a little high. Staff is friendly. Seating feels a little crowded. Parking can be difficult at times. We go about 2x a year. Love the burgers!

We had a 730 reservation that was not honored and the split our party of 17 up in two rooms and made us wait 2 hours for our food, I would have walked out but we were starving after a nice afternoon at cabela's. The server was terrible, just a bad expeirence. Don't go here!

I have been going to the PC Hotel for well over 20 years. I lived right down the street in Hamburg for a few years and would go 2-3 times a month. I have sice moved from the area but make sure to stop in anytime my travels take me up Rt 61. You will not find more authentic Pennsylvania... More
