We have gone here a few times I have yet to figure the staff, food or the place. One time we took my father-in-law who at the time was 91 he climbed the back stair it was winter. When we got to the entry the lady came and asked if we had reservation. I said I did not know we... More

I read the reviews prior to going, but went anyway. Was traveling through and wanted to go somewhere other than a chain restaurant, someplace with local charm. It was local, but the charm was mostly missing. Braunhilda, our waitress,a.k.a. Pam, left her smile back in 1967, and found it again when we were leaving. Every request ,which wasn't extraordinary, brought... More

They need to concentrate on the quality of their food and cooking it properly instead of the size of the portions. Was not here for a few years due to the same issue....nothing has changed

Had a wrap, fries, and cheese dip it was more than enough for two and it was very good. Nice bar area and very clean and out-of-the-way place that's a good stop. Saw the reviews about unfriendly service our service was good but they could smile just a little more.

I was shopping at cabalas in Hamburg, PA. and decided to try a locale eatery and was told at the store to try Port Clinton Hotel just down the road. The outside of the building didn't look too promising, and inside was much better, outdated and in need of repairs, but looks are sometimes deceiving, but not this time. Their menu... More

Tried to make reservations here for early Mother's Day (5/10/14). I was told by the person who answered the phone that they would not take our party of 10 unless we were willing to split up. This meant supposedly sitting in separate rooms. The reason you go out for Mother's Day is to be with family (not separated from them).... More

Really enjoyed our visit to Port Clinton Hotel. The portions are huge and the food was very good. I had a cheese steak and my girlfriend had a cheese steak salad. So much that we brought home a lot of the salad and fries. Sat at the bar and the staff was great.

I make a quick stop here for dinner with my nephew after a Cabela’s run and left feeling like I ate enough for a week!! There is nothing fancy about this place; it is just an old hotel/bar/restaurant serving pub food at fair prices for people who are hungry. If you want atmosphere and a fancier menu, look elsewhere or... More

We didn't like it here at all. It looked like it use to be a good place. But our food was awful. We ate some of it but threw the rest away. The owner was not friendly at all. Our food tasted like it was in the microwave just a little bit too long. Paid up, never to return.

You know the kind of place that could be very good but the staff put a bitter taste on it? Yeah, that's this place. We were at Yuenling Brewery and our tour guide recommended we eat here. No we did not go to Cabela's, even though this restaurant advertises it's proximity to it. We stopped in for lunch. You can... More
