Good upscale pub with good steak

We stopped in for a business dinner. The decor is nice and comfortable, but a little worn. The waiter we had was very good - attentive and offered good suggestions. The food was prepared properly (my steak was just the right temp), and all was tasty and tender. I had a Cajun ribeye. We also... read more

I went there twice and I am still impressed. You need a reservation because it is a busy place near a Mall and Dave & Buster. The service is friendly and professional, the server helped with the wine list. Big portions. They have a terrace but it is somewhat noisy. The steak and the fish were cooked to our liking.

Three of us gathered here for a quick dinner. The ribs were excellent, the mashed potatoes were VERY garlicly, the asparagus was a little undercooked but still good. The bbq meatloaf was excellent, the roasted chicken with BBQ was dry. Although they say the roasted chicken is very moist, mine was not. It was still edible, Our waitress was attentive... More

After along day of shopping, I was tired and hungry. My husband had the lobster bisque and it did not meet his expectations. I had the Halibut the sauce was a bit salty, but the fish was fresh. The rice pilaf was so bland that salt could not revive it. The side salad was good along with the dressing. Our... More

Went with friends on a Sunday evening and we were torn between 3 or 4 stars (can't do 3 1/2). We were last there a couple of years ago and thought we would try again as we wanted someplace we hadn't been to in a while. Waitress was pleasant but rushed. I had a glass of red sangria and blech-flavor... More

We went here last weekend for a small outing.... hubby had the salad and filet - both of which he said were very good. I had the Ahi tuna - a bit dry but good - and the spinach and garlic flatbread which was also tasty. Our server was very nice and attentive without being intrusive. Overall - a nice... More

For the amount of the tab this place should have been exceptional and it was far from that. We order the buffalo shrimp app and my husband got the sirloin steak...I got the cobb salad and a crab cake...which was dry and over cooked. With 2 beers each our tab was just short of a buck fifty....not cheap and certainly... More

Stopped in here for a late dinner with the family and it was awesome! We sat out on the patio, completely covered and very nice! Calamari was good as an appetizer. Wife and I shared the Wedge Salad which was also good. We saw the size of the portions and decided to share the Rotisserie Chicken for our entree, and... More

We were visiting friends in Philly, and they took us to this restaurant on our first nite. I was not anticipating anything spectacular, but was pleasantly surprised. Our server, Nora, was the best. Very friendly, helpful, and generally a very pleasant person. I had a half rack of ribs and they were very good and plenty of food. Two others... More
