Oh where to even begin? I always read wonderful reviews about this place so we decided to give it a try this week, unfortunately a can't even give this place anything above a half of star. We walked in and were surprised by the atmosphere it was not quite what we expected white paper over top of the black tablecloths... More

This was our first visit to Sarafinos and could not have been more disappointed. I am able to say that the service was outstanding. The wait staff was very attentive and did their job extremely well. This is however the only positive thing I am able to say. Upon entering the restaurant,. the first glance left me with the impression... More

I liked everything about this place and the food was great. I had a pizza and salad takeout and it was fabulous. I showed up a little late in the evening and the staff was very accommodating. Give them a try not to expensive either

The restaurant business is crazy so be that as it may the staff does a good job of juggling anxious diners eager to get to the food. Relax, BYOB, talk to your friends. Joe is doing a fantastic job. Always have the vodka penne but spotted the veal chop which is next on my list. I'm sure it won't disappoint.

We had been searching for a good Italian place with BYOB, and this place is right in our backyard! It's small so we like to get there early (opens at 4) to get a table without a wait. The house salad dressing is excellent, with a little sweetness. You can pick your pasta type, then you sauce, and add meatball... More

I would like to start by saying I have been here many times with great food, and on this night the service by the wait staff was great. However, my fiancé and I have never had a worse meal in our lives. Perhaps the regular chef was not there on may 2 but that is no excuse. I ordered the... More

We drive all the way from the South Hills of Pittsburgh and don't mind it, because it is our favorite restaurant in Pittsburgh! Food is consistently fresh and authentic. They don't take reservations, so plan ahead. The greens and beans are the best in the city!!!

Okay, it's not a bar; in fact it's BYOB. And maybe it's not everybody that knows your name, but chances are, if you live in the nearby communities, you're going to see familiar faces. It's usually not a "one and done," people tend to become regulars. Sarafino's is sort of a throwback to the old days of local mom and... More

A great family restaurant in the Crafton neighborhood. It's small - seats only about 50 people - so getting a seat on the weekend can be a wait. Great food but a limited menu. They have a webpage with the menu but they always have nightly specials to expand the selection. I had mussels marinara and it was excellent. Big... More

Its a BYOB with large portions of good food and good friendly service. Just overlook the decor and atmosphere.
