After many years I still like going back to this SouthSide trattoria. Solid cocktails, approachable wine list and delicious Mediterranean cuisine served up by a pleasant and knowledgeable staff. A winning combination

We have never had a bad meal at Dish. The food is always fresh and the service is great. We have gone there several times with reservations or just sat at the bar without reservations. The Rigatoni alla Scamorza is an awesome dish.

It has been a while since I have eaten here so tried it again. The place was packed on a Monday night and we had to wait for our reservations. The front room was very crowded and we were essentially standing on top of people eating. The back room, where we ate, was cozier and quieter so we had a... More

This was my third visit to Dish, a place I found by accident several years ago while driving around the block looking for a place to park to visit another restaurant. It is located in South Pittsburgh, several blocks south of the Carson Street strip of restaurants and clubs in what at first glance would appear to be a house.... More

This restaurant is tucked into a side street in the Southside of Pittsburgh. Get your maps out folks and try it. The ambiance, the attentive staff, the quaint decor were just the start. The bartender is a genius and mixes every drink with love and a smile. The owner greets you and seats you. The dishes are hard to describe.... More

Had a wonderful meal as usual at this place. Have not been disappointed yet. I had pasta with seafood and my wife had a rolled pork entree with gnocchi. The gnocchi had no sauce but it was one of the best versions I ever had. Service was excellent and the wine selection was very good. The pasta is always cooked... More

Dining here on weekends for a traveler presents a few obstacles. Although but a block or two off the main Southside drag, The small Osteria's low profile makes it hard to spot unless you're on top of it. Further, its size means make reservations a few days in advance a necessity. Lastly, finding on-street parking is a task. All these... More

My friends and I recently had a fun Friday dinner here and absolutely loved it. We started out by handing out at their fabulous bar for decent priced wine and then sat in the back for dinner. We each had one of their fresh salads and then seafood for our entrees. I had the Sicilian salad and for my entree... More

I had been wanting to try this restaurant for a very long time. We finally did, and it is one of our favorites. We go there a few times a month. We like to sit at the bar, have some wine or a Lavender Vanilla Martini (amazing!). The bartender is great. Very personable and knowledgeable, although I don't know her... More
