My husband and children (ages 9,7 and 4) wanted to take me out somewhere fancy for dinner so we chose the Sonoma Grille. I had met the chef a few months back and always wanted to dine here and it didn't disappoint! The tapas tasting is an absolute must-order. The drinks were delightful, I especially enjoyed my Petaluma. My husband... More

A nice selection of wines that pair very well with their menu. The staff is very knowledgeable and willing to make suggestions with regards to your specific wants and tastes. The menu, although limited, still offers up a wide selection of tastes. It ranges from beef, venison, seafood, chicken and vegetarian options. I had the venison chops with carrots and... More

I dined with a large group during a conference in Pittsburgh. We had a separate space and were served by a group of wait staff and food runners. From appetizers (shrimp tempura, yum!) to the salads (beet salad to die for) to the entrees (seared sea scallops; amazing, and I don't even like scallops usually), each step in the dining... More

We visited Sonoma Grille for dinner based on it's close proximity to our hotel (right next door) and it's positive reviews on yelp and tripadvisor. The restaurant is beautiful and has an extensive wine list. We did feel a little under dressed despite yelp saying the attire was casual. The staff was warm and welcoming and really took the time... Last weekend we had lunch at the Sonoma Grill and were very pleased. First, our server was friendly, helpful, and flexible and willing to make recommendations. Our lunch (salmon and salad) was very good. The wine list is relatively extensive with both high priced and "value" priced bottles of wine. This is the second time we've been to this restaurant... Visited with a friend - we shared the tapas sampler which had 5 different dishes - each delicious (even the pork bellies). A wine flight allows you to sample 3 of their great pours.

We've dined at Sonoma Grille 6 or 7 times and have never been disappointed. The wait staff is top notch and the food is unbelievably good. We went there last night for our anniversary and, once again, couldn't have asked for better service and food. The tappas platter is always a delight. I enjoy the Wine Flights and my husband... More

Nice ambience, great californian wines, excellent Tapas, good fish and dishes, excellent chowder- overall nice fun place to eat. Can be full especially early evenings but nice and lively. Definitely worth a visit.

I picked this place because it had an extensive tapas menu. I like small plates - don't want gobs of food. Still, we left glutted, in part because of the unctious, flavorful food offered. Start with the tapas platter - 5 wonderful offerings that will be almost enough food for two. They probably change this but we had wagyu beef,... More
