Dinner and lunch

Went for dinner one night and lunch another day with some folks from work. For dinner I had a Spicy Tomato Bisque and Scallops. The bisque was quite good, but not overly spicy. The scallop dish, while tasty, only had 3 scallops. For lunch I had their Bigelow Burger. It was a good size and very... read more

6 of us ate at the restaurant, as part of our stay at the Doubletree Hotel it is within. Our waitress, Erica, did an excellent job taking care of our needs. Food was good. The only issue was that she named a few desserts that in reality were not available. The manager and chef apologized for this and comped our... More

We were staying at the DoubleTree and visited The Bigelow Grille for some evening drinks. The atmosphere was really good and there were enough TVs showing sports to keep us entertained.

This restaurant usually has some great entrees made with local meats and vegetables. Our meal was over cooked. The chicken entrees are normally tasty but this time they were dry and not up to their usual standard. It must have been a bad night as we have had good meals here in the past.

We walked by the hotel many times after hockey games at the Consol Energy Arena. Looking for a sandwich in a quiet atmosphere one evening, thought we would give it a try. Sandwich menu not extensive, a few interesting choices such as a Cuban sandwich or a brisket. Service was good, food quality pretty average. It meets the need for... More

Had the lamb - menu described it as with cucumber and tabbouleh but it was really pickle and couscous. Still good though. Ordered the creme brulee for dessert.... awful. Thick brulee and creme was curdled and watery. Waitress just giggled, said "that's too bad", and walked away when I told her that it was a poorly made dessert.

My husband and I stopped in for a few drinks. 4 glasses of wine was $40.00 with tip. I could have bought a few bottles for that price. We didn't try any food so I can't speak on that. Our bartender seemed annoyed to be there. I think he might have had a really long day by the time we... More

The brunch we had on Sunday was sixteen dollars and was well worth the money. I have no complaints and I will eat here again.

Lamb Burger was YUMMY. We had ours prepared medium rare and it was warm and juicy. Great snack before a game! Prices were reasonable for all menu items.

as we were staying at the hotel we ate breakfast here daily. the food was buffet style & omelet's were made to order. The staff was truly amazing. Each morning we were warmly greeted, coffee & juice was served quickly & they took the time for small talk which made the atmosphere feel very homely. We did not eat here... More
