We were looking for a place to have a late Sunday lunch with Pinot, our greyhound and found Red Fin Blues online. What a beautiful surprise. EVERYONE treated our dog as part of our party. Not only the attention to her was greatly appreciated but the food and service made us want to come back again. The fact that a... More

Let's face it, your coming here to dine on the water, for snack before jumping on a boat, or... to get drunk at the bar. In Pittsburgh, eating on the water is limited to a hand full of restaurants. The food was OK, but they recently hired the chef from Ruth's Chris & changed the menu for the first time... More

If you grew up here you know the city revolves around the river and if you didn't you now know. If you want to visit a place where you can casually hang on the deck and enjoy the river and some boats in the marina this is the place. The food is better than ever and please try the steamed... More

Born and raised in Pittsburgh, but not a yinzer! Great location; great vibe; as close as we get to Key West. Great food; great service from the waiting staff...can't get a drink from the barmaids!!! They only wait on their friends and boater regulars..very bad customer service..

Really nice outdoor deck overlooking river and private docks. Service is fine and attentive. Menu was diverse and has something you will like. I had chilli dogs time. Nothing special to report - went for lunch. Would return if asked/invited. Its not a place you think about.

This is my Sunday place in the summer. I love to take my bike and ride the trail and when I am done I put the bike away and sit on their deck and have steamed shrimp and a cold beer. I will go at night and it's equally cool. It's in a marina do it's a boating bar.

The location is the best thing they have to offer. It appears they are one of those restaurants that relies on their location and marvelous view, as opposed to their culinary missteps. That results in a disappointment. If you order a cocktail, make certain to tell the waitperson, which brand you want, otherwise you may be paying for more than... More

Food is average. Service is poor. Lunch menu is very limited. I ordered chicken wings with Redfin Blues sauce but it was just the dry chicken wings, no sauce at all. Other than the view, there is no reason to go this place. Go there if you like outside seating when the weather is good once a year or so...

This was a pleasant stop on a bike ride through the city. Outdoor seating, nice view, quick & friendly service for our appetizers and drinks. I can't speak, however, to the full menu - although the other diners who received their sizeable meals seemed happy enough. Overall, we'd stop here again. :)

It has been a while since I ate at a marina restaurant; I typically avoid them as well as small airfield cafes and the like. Most of them feed off their location not their product. So when my son suggested Redfin Blues in the tony Washington Landing area, I had mixed feelings. The restaurant and marina are located under the... More
