We stopped here for an early lunch. We sat outside, which was nice. We had the veg head wrap and a mushroom and Swiss turkey burger on a pretzel roll. Both were really tasty. It said on the menu that you could get fries with the burgers or sandwiches for $1.50. So we ordered sweet potato fries, which were really... More

This is the SAME place it has always been, and that is a mix of positive and negative. I don't write negative reviews unless really warranted. The food was average. Nice server, she tried. Order was not correct, food was better a decade ago. We were in a hurry and starving. I would go back for drinks but that is... More

Best little friendly bar in Shadyside. Sometimes groups of college kids swarm in here and turn the atmosphere into a crowded, shoulder to shoulder, loud, drunken feeding frenzy. I go home before that happens! Come early and enjoy the neighborhood feel of the place.

We had burgers, wings, caesar salad, wraps, chicken tenders. A C- at the very best. Kitchen staff kept going out to smoke. Thought I was going to be sick afterwards. Chef Ramsey from Kitchen Nightmares would padlock the doors.

Cappy's has been around for a number of years and the quality of this tiny restaurant in the heart of Shadyside has been maintained. The menu is varied and the service excellent and I make a point of at least one visit to Cappy's every time I find myself in Pittsburgh.

I lived in Shadyside in the 70's, so I remember great Reuben sandwiches at the Gazebo. In town for a wedding, I was nostalgic for the neighborhood. The guy in the high end market suggested Cappy's , sort of a dive ambience which is fine had the food been better, i ordered the Reuben , yuck, the corned beef was... More

My husband and I have been enjoying Cappy's for well over 25 years. We are still there every Friday night meeting up with our friends. Bryan and his staff are great. Food and drinks are always good. As a previous review stated, us "regulars" are the ones who keep the seats warm!

Recommend a delightful salad with roasted red peppers, artichokes, olives, cucumbers, lettuce and topped with grilled salmon. Enjoyable
