My family and I frequent the Square Cafe. We always go for breakfast, and it is always delicious! My mother absolutely loves the Brussel sprout hash, while I love the lemon ricotta pancakes. However, most of the time I order one of the specials, and they are always great!! Last visit it was the delicious cinnamon raisin pancakes. The service... More

We fell upon this restaurant while leaving Pittsburgh on our trip back to Philadelphia. What a find!! The menu is awesome. The choices are fun, numerous and healthy. Very friendly atmosphere and spacious retro indoor seating. We sat outside. Prices are most reasonable. Would recommend to all.

We went close to lunch and there was a crowd. Servers were very efficient and our wait was not very long. We all decided to have the breakfast menu. There were some interesting pairings, but we were generally satisfied with our selections. Pancakes and crepes were good. Potatoes were overdone. Smoothies, coffee and tea were good. Prices were quite reasonable,... More

Enjoyed a good brunch. Could have sat outside but chose to dine indoors at cute retro tables. Temped by chorizo scramble but chose the veggie overload omelet. Other people in party enjoyed pancakes, open face turkey Rachel and brie and berry crepes (portion was small). Would return and recommend. I'd like to try other items as many sounded good and... In town for a weekend wedding and staying at the Waterfront, but where to go for a good, non chain breakfast, we found it at Square Cafe! The menu was creative, lots of variety and excellent quality. My partner and I always search for gluten free selections on menus and they had some of the best gluten free pancakes I've... More

Stopped here on the way to Gettysburg after driving for a long time. The outside seating is the best, the staff is friendly. Good food and decent prices. Recommend an omelet with Amish Cheddar cheese. Stopped here on a Friday morning, and it was busy!

A great place to eat breakfast. The specials are excellent, and the coffee is hot! Like the local art on the walls. Need to try lunch next time, looked good!

Try to go on a day or time when it's not too crowded - weekend mornings are crazy! Other than that, I've never had a bad experience here. The first time I came I was trying not to spend money and ordered a small bowl of oatmeal, which they were out of - I got to choose anything off the... More

We were hoping from the reviews that this would be a nice Mothers Day experience, but instead, we were disappointed. The atmosphere is adorable and it was totally packed when we arrived, but when we got our food, my mother in laws French toast was cold and so were my pancakes. Also, the pancakes were not light and fluffy but... More
