Food and atmosphere were wonderful, but as stated above, this is now closed. Since this site wants me to make the review longer, i'm not sure what else to say other than this restaurant is a great loss to the community.

The Tango Cafe is a marvelous little Argentinean cafe right here in Squirrel Hill. The food is simple, just sandwiches, empanadas, salads and desserts mainly but the taste is incredible. It's surprising how good homemade bread and the right ingredients can make a sandwich. And each of the 5 flavors of empanadas are equally as good. The coffee beats Starbucks... More

This is a great little Argentine cafe. The sandwiches and pastries are tasty, the drinks are refreshing, but the real draw is the people. Great place to practice Spanish skills.

This is a wonderful little authentic Argentinean coffeehouse in Pittsburgh's Squirrel Hill neighborhood, run by a friendly Argentinean family.
