Overshadowed a bit by Jimmy Wan's for locals, Tai Pei offers a better value with maybe less ambiance than Jimmy Wan's. Traditional Chinese fare, all well priced. Great place for a quick lunch and take out. Easy to get to and fast. Great service, you won't be disappointed.

We have either eaten in or done takeout around 6 times in the last 4-5 months and always had a good experience. We live in the Fox Chapel area and eat at Tai Pei two or three times a month. We've found that it's the best Chinese in this part of the city by far. We have visited Tai pai a number of times. The usual stand bys are good, but what you hope for are their special dishes - and the ones with asperagus are especially fantastic.

We have only had the food delivered, but everything was excellent!!! We always get the lo mein and general tso's. Their crab wonton and dumpling appetizers are amazing.

The food here is probably good Chinese food, similar to what I've had in the past, but I really found the service to be a bit off-putting. Try Jimmy Wans which is nearby.

Searched out this restaurant in Pittsburgh. It did not disappoint! Peking Duck was the best we've ever had! Staff was friendly, restaurant was neat and clean and dinner for two was under $50.00!!
