Special location and view...stick to basic foods

I had a reservation for a three months for a birthday dinner for out-of-towners; they called the day before to say they needed to change the time and said I hadn't paid a reservation fee, which they had never asked for. When I said I couldn't change the time, they said they'd do their best to... read more

Good food. Only ordered Jalapeño burger and unique home-made chips. Good variety for lunch. Parked on side street not lot.Good service. Can use Diquense Incline and be very close. Spectacular view of Pittsburgh!

We decided to eat at the incline even though the prices scared us. We chose the Grandview due to the 12 year old is picky and it had stuff he would eat. The food was scrumptious but pricey. Fifteen dollars for buffalo chicken dip that barely fed three. We had a Gyro, the dip, a chicken sandwich and a prime... More

We had a late afternoon drink and dessert as this Mt. Washington bar/restaurant. The service was a little slow but perhaps it was because we sipped the inside seating and headed straight outside. Once they recognized we had not been served we were well taken care of for the remainder of our visit. The drinks and dessert were excellent but... More

Great place to relax, eat, and enjoy the view of downtown Pittsburgh. This restaurant sits at the top of Mt. Washington just a few steps from the Duquesne Incline upper platform overlooking downtown Pittsburgh and the three river area. If you get there early or want to stay after you eat you can relax on an outdoor patio with the... More

We had to see Pittsburgh from Mt. Washington, so we took the Duquesne Incline to the top and had a late lunch at the Grandview Saloon, a few steps away from the Incline. The view is fabulous! My wife had a large salad, and I had a fish sandwich which was the best I've had in years. (Last one that... More

Had the crab cake sandwich and he had the whaler. Both were awesome. But the showstopper was the view. Perfect for a casual meal but could also be very romantic.

Was a graduation party dinner. Seats were very close and tight. Food was ok, nothing great. Prices were what you'd expect. View was beautiful. Service was ok. I would go back for a lunch with a friend. Would not get the crab cakes. They were too spicy hot and the sauce was worse. Oh and we had a 6 year... More

Our first day in Pittsburgh, my wife and I decided to take the Incline up to the top of the hill overlooking the city. Perfect place to start our vacation. Being hungry, we stopped at the closest restaurant to the Incline which was the Grandview Saloon. Great choice. First of all, the view was fantastic. Large glass windows showed everything... More
