again and again, I go here for lunch & dinner. My wife loves the food and service, but says I am in a rut. but the menu changes so frequently that I'm afraid to miss something.

Truly enjoyable experience . Wonderful service & cozy casual atmosphere. Filet mignon was exceptionally tender with a fabulous blue cheese and Jack Daniels sauce. Location is a little hard to find but well worth the effort. Super wine list as well !

Took a friend here for her birthday lunch celebration. It was a great experience from start to finish. We had a nice, quiet booth, the service was excellent, and the food exceptional -- the crab cakes were wonderful, and my friend really enjoyed her scallop dish. The waiter surprised the birthday girl with a complimentary warm chocolate chip cookie cake... More

Food and service were great. Good location to clients office. I don't recommend the seafood but everything else is very good.

I expect this to be so much better. The starters were good but entrees disappointing mainly because they show up cold and overcooked in the case of the fish. The Salmon was recommended but was dry and lacking in taste THe deserts were good adn redeemed the place from a lower rating - whisky bread and butter pudding was a... More

First time to visit the restaurant.. heard good reviews so excited to try it out with our friends. Resto had good specials that night so it was hard to choose. We had the ceviche for appetizer and calamari. Both good. Duck pasta was very good, if not one of the best I've tried. Cousin had cajun soft shell crab which... More

Wife and I were going to try someplace different, but went back to the Carlton again. Love this place. Meals are excellent, service is excellent! Very attentive. If going to a show after dinner, ask for the shuttle service. The server even held our leftovers for pickup after the show. Will definitely be back again!

The good: best steak I have ever had. The best coconut cream pie I ever tasted. We are still thinking about it. We are from Pittsburgh (moved away 4 years ago) and visit regularly. Have not been here in decades. Had no idea of the quality of the food. Atmosphere is that of "business deals being had", but in a... More

We have dined at the Carlton about 2 times a year for the last 20 years. The last 2 times we have been disappointed in the taste of the food and the service. On our most recent visit, their "original" salad was average at best (i don't think the ingredients have changed over those years). The bread tasted stale. One... More

Steak was cooked to perfection. Bolognese was fantastic. Server, Diane, was great. With a good sense of humor, she was careful not to disturb our dinner conversation when she checked if everything was to our satisfaction. Once she, found out we were delighted with our meal, she did not return to constantly ask if "we were still working or that"... More
