Atmosphere felt like a chain restaurant, noisy, crowded, had a diner like feel. Servers were stiff, cold, and speeches rehearsed. Not one server was engaging or warm to us in any way. Everyone at our table of 5 was disappointed with the food and quality. The seafood stew, had very small clams, the meat of the mussels was the size... More

If I could give more stars I would. The food is GREAT! and priced very well for the quality. The dining room is modern in decor and a bit "cold" but the food and service overwhelm the room.

Two of my children, their girlfriends and I had a delightful dining experience at Lidia's. My son works at Becco in NYC which is also owned by Lidia Bastianich so we were hoping to find comparable food and wine here at home. We were not disappointed! Everything from appetizer to dessert was exquisite! We will definitely be returning!

I actually went here for take out - expecting to be put somewhere in a corner while I waited - but they treated me great! He put me up at the bar and offered a menu to review - the staff is very friendly. I got the caprese salad (grape tomatoes and buffalo cheese) and the meatballs (three nice sized... More

The pasta is extremely light. Dishes seasoned just right and perfect portion size. Go here for a relaxing meal. An easy walk from the Hampton downtown.

Being fans of "Lidia's Italy" on PBS, we were tickled to find this restaurant. We had a lunch and a dinner there. Each time, the service was excellent and the food was so delicious! The menu was quite varied and everything was prepared beautifully.

Yes, you can find cheaper breakfasts in town. Probably in the Strip District. But will it be as good? In such an elegant, yet approachable space? And offer SO! MUCH! FOOD! I highly doubt it. Appetizers, and dessert on the buffet, your entree is brought to your table. Oh, did I mention that price includes a bloody mary or a... More

Six of us enjoyed a delicious leisurely Italian dinner at Lidia's in Pittsburgh's Strip District last evening! Most of us opted for the all you can eat Pasta Trio which includes different pastas each night. All three pastas were totally made in house and were wonderful. Since Lidia's also offers some gluten free pastas, my wife was thrilled by the... More

We visit family every year in Oakmont PA, and must make a trip downtown to Lidia's. We went for lunch and had the three pasta (all you could eat) meal. Wonderful. Service was great. Can't wait till our next trip up north!

Three of us had a wonderful dinner in Pittsburgh recently. We started with the antipasti platter which was more than enough for three. I had the caprese salad which had heirloom tomatoes and homemade mozzarella, and the gnocchi. They were light and wonderful and with the duck Bolognese not overly heavy. A friend's panna cotta was not the best, but... More
