Best Sunday brunch

My family of 8 came here for Sunday Brunch. The brunch was under $30.We had a choice of mimosa or Bloody Mary as part of the meal. There a large selection of breads and spread to choose from. They had a large antipasti table and dessert table. I love the tiramisu. We had a 8 choices for our main... read more

Really disappointing visit to Lidia's which has been, for years, a place we could always depend on for fantastic food and good service. This was the first bad meal I ever had there - I actually sent my food back. The only other time in my life I ever did that was at a now closed place that served me... More

We made our reservations far in advance for Lidia's Feast of the Seven Fishes on Christmas Eve. I had been looking forward to bringing my girlfriend and Italian Mother to Lidia's for several years. After accepting a new job, I finally was able to enjoy the holiday off with them, and thought an excellent, stress-free way to enjoy a memorable... More

Seeing Lidia on tv for so many years we couldn't wait to try a restaurant. Lived up to expectations. The food was great the service was even better. The Sunday sauce was awesome the pasta sampler was great and the Caesar salad was super. Price was moderate and well worth it

First, I'm gluten intolerant. Lydia advertises a gluten free menu. Yes, there were a few gluten free main courses, but, no gluten free muffins or any kind of bread. I'm just sitting there as everyone else at the table was enjoying great muffins and spreads. Of course, no adjustment to the tab. Second, the service needs work. Waitress was no... More

This was my first time at Lidia's. Three business associated talked me into going here and it was a great choice. I am told that Lidia is a cooking hit on PBS. A special was endless choice of three pasta dishes. One of our party had the meat lasagna, he said it was great and the portion was large. I... More

For several years now, Lydia's has been our go to restaurant for family brunches because we always like the authenticity of the dishes. This was so much so that My daughter's bridal shower was held there. I recently visited with her and a friend on a Sunday evening and was really disappointed. My daughter who is vegetarian usually orders the... More

We made our reservations far in advance for Lidia's lauded Feast of the Seven Fishes on Christmas Eve. A celebrity chef who really brought the focus on the Feast in the U.S., we thought it would be a stress-free way to enjoy a memorable meal for my Italian MIL, and my boyfriend and I were looking forward to Lidia's celebrity... Went to Lidia's with a group of 5 women. The atmosphere is wonderful and our server was terrific. But, it took us a full hour before we received any food. The trio of pasta I ordered was pretty uninspired. We were expecting better.

We stayed next door at the Homewood Suites, and decided to eat dinner at Lidia's, based upon a recommendation from the hotel. The food was good, and the service was also pretty good. They have a portion of the wine list that is the "special $32 wine list". I would not recommend that wine that is on the $32 wine... More
