Nice place. Great service!

Set in one of Pittsburgh's most trendy districts, The Strip, Lidia's offers exceptionally well-prepared Italian cuisine in a comfortable setting. The wine list, although somewhat limited, is excellent. The decor is a little dated and, we were informed, due for renovation soon; but it did not distract in the slightest from a wonderful lunch. P.S. Save room for dessert!

The food was incredible, the atmosphere was great, and the staff was helpful. Highly recommend. It's not cheap but it's also not out of hand. For the quality of food I'd be more than happy to pay a little higher price for such quality food.

We were greeted by a friendly hostess and taken to a table along the wall. This was quickly followed by filled water glasses and a large basket of breads. Our server appeared soon after and explained what we would receive using the Groupon . We ordered the Argentina wine Malbec. Since I had read on former reviews that the Caesar... More

Take unmatched service and courtesy, add food prepared artfully by a chef who takes pride in his work, add good wine and good friends, and you will have a most memorable experience at Lidia's. This restaurant leaves nothing to be desired. Start with an antipasto platter to share. The salads are large enough to share 3 ways. Lamb chops over... More

This was one of the best Italian meals I have had. Having lived in the city all my life, I had been anxious to try this restaurant and it did not disappoint. From the service to the food and wine, everything was top notch. We had soup, pasta, dessert and wine. The pasta was phenomenal as was the rest of... More

Was with a tour group and were seated in a loft above the man dining area. Service was impeccable with servers all over the place meeting our every need. Had the Insalata Cesare. Was waiting for a touch of anchovy but never showed up. Good in any case. Then we had the Pasta Tasting Treo. First choice was the Tagliatelle... More

From the previous reviews I was concerned about the service. However, our experience from the staff was terrific. The food, not so much! First the (Lidia's specialty) Caesar Salad. Maybe my belief that all Caesar Salad should always be prepared table side colors my view. But to call what was served by that name was a sin. The Romaine was... More

We stayed at the Hampton Inn that is within walking distance and it was late so instead of lugging the kids out, I called to see if they did to go orders. The hostess said they did and took my order. First, they wouldnt honor a coupon for a free appetizer that I got from the hotel (didnt say on... More

I had purchased a groupon for the endless pasta trio, Caesar salad and tiramisu for two... With a bottle of wine. I had seen Lidia on TV many times and had always wanted to go to her restaurant. I took my Mother and we really enjoyed it. Our waitress was super and made sure that everything was just so ...... More
