We visited our friends in Pittsburgh and went to Lidia's on Presidents Day for Lunch. It was OUTSTANDING. My husband and I are Lidia Fans. We watch her all the time on TV. Love the Pasta Tasting.... what a GREAT Idea! Three of us ordered the Pasta Tasting. Homemade pasta that was EXQUISITE.. One pasta was with a pork bolognese,... more
My husband and I went to Lidia's for bruch on a cold Saturday afternoon. Everything was excellent. Only a 3 course brunch is served. Upon sittling down, a basket of fresh bread, muffins and scones is served. I could not wait for the waitress to take our order to try them. They were delicious. The antipasti table by the fireplace... more
My mother and I recently planned a dinner at Lidia's prior to the Neal Diamond concert on Monday, August 19th. I had been to the restaurant several times but my mother had never been and was excited to go because she had heard so much about it and said that she could say she's been to Lidia's. I had the... more

The serve their wonderful bread with a garbanzo pesto spread and a white and black olive spread. You also get three pastas,... more

Our server was friendly, knowledgeable (except his food pronunciation!) and quite prompt in taking our orders; both for the wine and the entrees. A previous... more
We planned to celebrate our daughter's graduation from the University of Pittsburgh at Lidia's Restaurant. We had seen her TV show. What a disappointment! We made reservations several months in advance, and confirmed a few days ahead. We arrived about 20 minutes early and waited in the bar. We were escorted to what must be the worst table in the... more
Upscale dining with semi-reasonable prices. Good Italian food. more
From the get go- this was not a first-class restaurant or even near that. As far a service, I can only describe it as amateurish, not polished and not accomodating in the least. The MINUTE we sat down our group of 5 was presented with the menu. No wine list- no water- straight to the MENU. So from then on... more
