Went to Lidia's for a birthday party last night and service and food were uneven but generally anything but great. We have been many times in the past and it has been very nice. Some things last night were very good but they were few and far between. First, the good - the breadsticks, the broth on the seafood Zuppa... More

My wife's birthday is Dec 24th so we invited her sister and husband to be our guests for a wonderful dinner at Lidia's. We had been to this restaurant numbers of times over the years and have always had a good experince - - until this past Christmas Eve. It appears that if you sat on the first floor you... More

My wife had the lemon chicken, and I had the pasta trio, was good as usual. I was a little disappointed that Franco moved on, but we will be sure to visit him at Senti. PFD

Today’s brunch at Lidia’s  was everything that I wanted.  This was the end to the Christmas Holiday as we go back to work tomorrow.  Determined to do something enjoyable I invited three friends to join me: two were able to accommodate. Lidia’s Sunday Brunch (Saturday’s too) includes a mimosa (or maybe a Bloody Mary) an antipasto bar that might curl... More

A friend and I stumbled onto this famous restaurant. Atmosphere is classy, romantic...very Italian. Linen table cloths and perfect lighting made this dining experience one of the best ever. The menu is fresh every day; and the quality surpassed the price in my opinion. Simply a delicious setting ...with outstanding food and wine. And the service was excellent but I... More

We were looking forward to a fun evening with delicious food and were extremely disappointed, to say the least. We had a reservation at 7:00 PM. The hostess could not have been less interested in talking with us, and was completely rude and dismissive. But that seems to be the standard of the staff. Once seated, the food was average... More

Took my Office Department there for a Holiday lunch. Made reservations 2 weeks in advance. Arrived and were seated promptly, although coat check seemed confusing to the hostess. We all opted for the Pasta trio with Calamari as an appetizer. Excellent food all around. Now.... the pasta come with refills. We only saw our waitress once after we placed our... More

Reservations were made several weeks ago to celebrate a graduate school commencement and I was excited about dining at Lidia's restaurant . We arrived early and waited more than 15 minutes while we watched several other parties be seated. We were then seated next to a servers' station but we said nothing was said for fear we would wait longer.... More

Lidia's a great place for food no veal on the menu bummer. However the pasta treo is always a good choice. The host could have been a little more attentive but the wait staff made up for it great personality and on the ball making this place a top choice on the Burgh.
