I am writing in regards to your Easter brunch that took place last Sunday, April 20th. As a customer, I was highly disappointed in my experience with your organization. With family traveling from North Carolina and New York, I made reservations in February for our April Easter reunion. Upon calling, I was referred to the website that stated that the... More

There were 8 of us that came for dinner. Most tried the pasta trio offer & everyone really enjoyed it. The ravioli was the star of the 3 - excellent. The Caesar salad was one of the best I've had. Service was attentive from host to server. The restaurant is large & classy. Best of all, for a dinner for... More

I am from the northeast and accustomed to excellent Italian and Italian-American food. I cook from her books. I watch her shows, but was prepared to be disappointed. Not so! Food was excellent. Nice contemporary space. Very well done Lidia!

I've been here numerous times and I'm always eager to go back. The service varies, but is usually great. The food is always great :) There's always a wide selection of choices and seasonal items. The servers are always knowledgeable about the menu and ingredients. They have been very accommodating to dietary restrictions. When it's busy, it can get a... More

I have gone a couple times with my family and the food is fantastic! You truly cannot go wrong. They always have a series of pastas the chef makes and you can keep refilling, which is great if you cannot decide what to order. The atmosphere is beautiful as well. It is great for a date if you can afford... More

Lydia's is a must do, if you want to eat Italian. Lydia is seen on public TV showing her recipes. And this restaurant lets you taste them. Parking is right across the street, as well as street parking. It is a large restaurant with upstairs seating as well. A little noisy because of all the people talking and enjoying their... More

Lidia's is relatively close to the convention center, just off Penn. Was out walking and noticed it was pretty busy, so decided to give it a try. Glad I did. Very good wine selection, and there were many menu items I wanted to try. I ended up getting the Truffle Risotto, ohhhh so good! My colleague ordered the Italian Sausage,... More

I have been over from the UK to Pittsburgh 3 times in the last 6 years and each time we have dined here. The first time it was recommended by our Hotel front desk, after that it just recommended itself, the first time really was that good. On this visit we get there early on a Wednesday teatime so we... Very good service, good food and presentation but a bit pricey. It was a relaxed atmosphere suitable for a group of six who appreciated being seated at a round table which made conversation easy since only two of us live in the Pittsburgh area. I ordered bean & greens soup & salmon with roasted vegetables and couscous with a mustard... More
