We went here after a day of exploring the Strip District. Having never had Caribbean cuisine before, we didn't know what to expect, but we were in for a treat! The menu changes frequently, but the crab cake sandwich was one of the best I've had. Highly recommended if you see it on the menu. Loved the sorrel tea and... More

We always try to eat dinner here when we are in Pittsburgh. It is better to have reservations, as it is always crowded. The food and drinks are delicious and interesting, and the service is excellent. The vibe is dark and cozy, exotic.

My wife, daughter and I visited at 5pm Saturday night but didn't have a reservation, so we sat at the bar. Our bartender/waitress was very attentive and gave excellent service. The drinks were good, but the food was excellent. I had delicious spicy hush puppies and a very good Cuban sandwich with quite spicy aioli. With the hot fries, I... More

Located in the heart of the strip, this restaurant has a cool vibe. It was strange that we had to sit at the bar because they had reservations, but we noticed empty tables the whole night we could've snagged. Not sure why that happened. The appetizers were exotic sounding but pretty average. My favorite was my 'nojito' and fish tacos.... More

I had been anxious to try this restaurant for a couple of years. I decided to go with some girl friends and use my Big Burrito free birthday dinner. I loved the dark atmosphere and cozy vibe. The happy hour is from 4:30-6:30 and includes half off any drink! I had a mango mojito that was fresh and delicious. We... More

Went here for a girl's night with a friend after wedding dress shopping. We didn't find a dress, but we found this amazing restaurant! We both ordered two different types of tacos off the apps menu. The first batch I had was a bit salty, the manager saw the look on my face when I tasted it and came right... More

The food was very good, they offer dishes that are not common in Pittsburgh. The home made chips (not potato chips) are great

My wife and I ate here for the first time and found the atmosphere inviting and menu to be very unique. Limited options for my taste, fish overcooked, and my draft beer was flat. Chairs were the best part they were awesome.

My fiancé and I met another couple friend here for Sunday brunch. Made reservations for 11:30AM just in case, about a week out. It wasn't super crowded, so it didn't seem reservations would have been necessary. Food was delicious and priced well. I had an omelet with shrimp and mushrooms. Perfectly seasoned. Perfectly cooked. Everyone seemed to really enjoy their... More

My husband and I had a terrific Caribbean dinner here with our son, Lachlan, who is a junior at Carnegie Mellon University. The only problem was that there were so many dishes that sounded good that we had trouble choosing what we wanted! I started with the strip steak tacos--there were three small ones that were exquisite and full of... More
