Great place in the Strip

The drinks are good, the food is good, and they make a killer brunch. Plus, fried chicken night on Thursdays!

Fun place, fun decorations, great wait staff! We came here specifically on a Thursday for the fried chicken dinner, and it is excellent! The chicken is fresh and marinated and perfectly cooked, and the sides really compliment each other. Can't argue with the price, either! We would definitely come back!

A hidden gem in the "Strip" district. very crowded for lunch, but the service and caribbean style food was terrific. We were there last year so I don't remember the dishes we had, but I guarantee we will go back on our next trip, and skip the Thai and Turkish places we went to.

Stopped by after 9pm one evening for some food/drinks while in the Strip District. They had a great looking menu, lots of interesting/delicious looking things. We settled on a few appetizers, the soft shell crab (absolutely fantastic with chorizo and potato) and the steamed buns (yummy pork with mango slaw) and the white sangria. It was all wonderful and the... More

My husband and I visited this restaurant on my birthday after reading the positive reviews from other Trip Advisor patrons. Unfortunately, we did not enjoy any part of our experience. When our waiter greeted us and asked for our drink order, my husband asked for a beer recommendation since we are not from the area and most of the beers... More

Menu was truly different. Although I was tempted to try a south seas menu item, I settled for the daily special - fried chicken. It was a half of a chicken fried with a crisp and tasty breading. The meat was tender and juicy. Best fried chicken in a long while. Can't wait to return and select a more adventurous... More

This restaurant has been around for a long time. The food is good and the staff are very helpful. If you are looking for something a bit different give this place a try. I was there on a Wednesday evening and the place was quite busy. Probably good to call ahead for a reservation. Nice atmosphere.

The food is always good here, but twice now in less than a year I've eaten here and when I reconcile my bill against my credit card statement, the wait staff inflates their tip so that the card is charged more. I called the big Burrito main office and left a message with accounting/operations and they were less than happy... More

Kaya in is an very un-Caribbean section of town, on a corner in the strip district facing Smallman St, once you get past that, the food was better than I expected. Portions are generous, I had fish tacos, you get 3, and could barely finish them. The food is not overly spicey but there a number of island offerings, like... More

Stopped in after the lunch rush when visiting the Strip District. The wait staff was quiet but helpful. Had the asparagus cemita, a vegetarian sandwich with asparagus, egg, hummus, avocado, pea shoots, and ramp aioli. It was colorful but also very tasty -- the ramp aioli had a strong but complementary garlic flavor. Would go back to try other items... More
