Holy Whaler

The Whaler is the largest fish sandwich I have ever seen in my life! If you are searching for any type of seafood it is available here. Great staff and a staple of the strip.

This is a place out of the past. You would think you were in Boston along the harbor when you walk into here, but you are just off the river in Pittsburgh. They have fresh fish galore to take home. This is a great place to buy some unique items and finish it off with some deep fried cod in... More

We will definitely take a cooler the next time we go. The lobster and crab legs are huge, and Andy's sushi is a must.

We were visiting from Florida and went to the strip. This was a nice experience. The area was suited nicely for strolling and people watching but the whole shopping experience at Wholey's was a huge WOW.

the sushi line was LONG, waited at least 15 minutes to get to front of the line. But Andy makes some damn fine sushi. I'll wait again next time. Very accommodative to special requests.

Walk inside & be wowed. I used to work a few blocks up Penn Ave & stopped by frequently. Seafood galore! Settle back & take it all in. Peasant that I am I usually just grab a fish sandwich & SAVOR THE FLAVOR.

Our first visit as a family (I had been be myself years ago when I worked down here). My kids saw this featured on an episode of bizarre foods about a year ago and had been asking to go for awhile. We visited the Heinz History Center so it was the perfect location for lunch. We loved walking around a... More

My wife and I went to this restaurant just by chance before we went back home to Philly. Well I must say " The Best Seafood I've ever had the pleasure to eat " and that is putting it lightly! From the Bloody Mary to the Alaskan Crab Legs, HellYeah!!! The staff was excellent! We will definitely be back, and... More

This is the obvious place to go. It's a very casual place inside a super fish market. Line is long at lunch, but worth the wait. You can take out your sandwich (fish, soft-shelled crab) or take your tray to the second floor and find a table.

This place is awesome! The bustling market and fresh fish make the scene lively but it's casual dining. The sushi is way too good for a non port city! I'm sure the other fish items are killer too!
