Great breakfast

Stopped in on Friday with my teenage daughter on the way to the doctors office. She had the chocolate chip banana pancakes, Awesome!. I had eggs and handcarved ham, and a crepe. Awesome also. Definitely going back.

I love going here for breakfast, but I always forget that it's CASH ONLY; I usually end up running to the ATM down the street... Anyway, there's plenty of parking out back, and the food is excellent. The place tends to fill up quickly and it's always pretty busy, but the service is still friendly and attentive. See you again... More

Even on a Wednesday morning with hardly any students in town, the Shadyside location of Pamela's was busy! That just goes to show how much of a neighborhood mainstay Pamela's is. The food is inexpensive and good, and the service is efficient. If you go on a weekend, expect to wait!!!

This place is a delight. Cash only (natch) and filled to the brim with a line outside, plan to come early and stay for all.of.it. The portions are generous, the food is satisfying, and the lack of pretension is appreciated. The pancakes are buttery, lacy, and exactly delicious. The potatoes are perfect. The eggs were eggcelent . . . Oh--and... More

Our family came here for late breakfast / early lunch. Our food was very, very good. My son and husband had pancakes, eggs, and bacon. I ordered the grilled bacon and cheese with their special home fried potatoes. Since it c was our first visit, we ordered simply but everyone was happy as the food was of very high quality.... More

It was good my omelet was bit greasy for my taste but good I enjoyed the potatoes. Didn't try hot cakes that's what it's known for. I really wished they had eggs Benedict 😕

Had breakfast on a Sunday morning with my mother. I had crepe pancakes and she had the same, with strawberries. We shared an order of home fries. Pancakes are unique and very good - thin with crispy edges. My mother was disappointed that strawberries served with pancakes appeared to be frozen, rather than fresh. Home fries were OK. Service was... More

Pamela's is a treat anytime you can get there, but it better be Breakfast or Lunch, 'cause Pamela doesn't do dinner. Doesn't matter, 'cause Breakfast or Lunch will last ALL day ! Great classic diner food with a twist: especially the chorizo dishes (Chorizo hash...yum....burp). Also, the crepe pancakes are amazing (betcha can't eat three). Usually a line to get... More

While the bright decor invited us in, and the memories of other breakfasts from Pamela's Diner on the Strip hold great memories...this one was just "meh". We were just in from our flight, and had knapsacks and a carry-on. They didn't want to give us a booth, but relented after realizing it's already past the brunch and lunch hour. We... More

The pancakes are delicious, with many options to choose from. The portions are large and price is reasonable. Just note, they only take cash.
