Yummy Pancakes!

Whenever we visit our son in Pittsburgh, we would have breakfast at Pamela's. We love the pancakes here because they are crispy on the edge. Good coffee too. Servers here are wonderful people. Please be mindful that Pamela's does not accept credit card.

Food was greasy and not flavorful. Go to Eatin Park they take credit and have better pancakes. The service was not great and lacked professionalism. The pancakes were flat and lacked true flavor.

You can tell a good place when you have to wait for a table. I went with two others and we waited about 15 minutes, but it was worth it. I had the corned beef hash with eggs -- wonderful. Great breakfast place. Will be fun to return to this place. Cash only.

Pamela's provides all the usual you would expect for breakfast from a diner (NB cash only) Worth a visit but not worth a detour

In my 18 years as a traveler I have never once eaten at the same place twice in one visit to a destination. Well Pamela's changed that for me this past week. My husband and I walked over to the strip from our downtown hotel and worked up quite an appetite. We had kept our eyes peeled for a breakfast... More

So the wait for breakfast was longer than expected, but was worthwhile. This is a tightly packed little greasy spoon of a spot that delivers a great breakfast experience. People apparently come for the pancakes and potatoes, but I'm recommending the tex mex omelet as well. Fast service and very affordable as well. Bring cash for your check as they... More

***CASH ONLY*** Get there right get when they open on Saturday at 8, there was a line already. Portions were bigger than we expected. Definitely could've split a breakfast. Flavor and presentation was great, service was great. When we left at 8:45 there were getting ready to start a waiting list.

If you go to the "Strip" in Pittsburgh, PA, you must pay a visit to Pamala's. With it's 1950's Retro decor and HUGE breakfast platters, the place is packed around mealtime hours. Breakfasts are wonderful and large and hot! Specialties are their Lionized (sp) potatoes which come on a separate plate from the rest of the meal. (That's how much... More

I visited here for breakfast - the pancakes had been strongly recommended. I have to say I was very disappointed. The overall surroundings are a bit grubby - not unpleasant, just nothing to recommend it. The pancakes themselves were very greasy - to the extent that I ate less that half what was served. Reading the reviews it seems many... More

The banana chocolate chip pancakes were amazing. Very fast service. Large portions. Glad that trip advisor led us there
