Couldn't leave Pittsburgh until Saturday so I spent the morning in the Strip District and started the morning early at P&G Pamela's. Walked in as the doors open, the place filled with locals in 15 minutes. Service was attentive and prompt. Food -- California French Toast (Raisin bread + strawberries) came out quick and was a treat. Portions here are... More

If you want the best breakfast in the Strip, look no further. The food is delicious and the price is right. I have enjoyed breakfast at Pamela's several times and each time the experience has been worth the trip.

We went with a big group and everyone LOVED the food! However, the service could've been better. After getting our food, we had to flag down other waitresses for refills and napkins. However, this is a cute little diner. We will probably eat there again because of convenience and the good quality.

Pamela's has the best pancakes. period. The Lyonnaise potatoes are amazing as well. I wish I knew how to make these at home kinda good. The eggs are always prepared right and the corn beef and swiss omelete is a must try. Just go. eat. enjoy. It's that simple.

We recently attended a wedding in downtown Pittsburgh, Pa. Pamela's was recommended by someone who ate there the day before and raved about it to us. So we gave it a try. The place is small, with tables everywhere. They are crooked and uneven. Slightly sticky. But who cares? It's all about the food right? This place is the pinnacle of a greasy spoon. Get there early. We Were there at about 9:30 on a Sunday and had a short wait. By the time we left the wait was over an hour... More

I read about and wanted to try the potatoes. Although a thick slice bacon would have made this hands down the best breakfast ever, the banana walnut pancakes and potatoes made up the difference. To top that off, we got our meal in less than 8 minutes! Lacy was a great waitress and if you're in the Pittsburgh area, don't... More
