We were in the neighborhood for several days and kept seeing a bunch of people hanging outside a certain nondescript door - turns out it was Pamela's Restaurant, known particularly for their crepe-style pancakes. So on a Monday, we stopped by and were thrilled we did. If you like thin pancakes, you will not be disappointed. Melty, buttery, crispy around... More

Looking for a place for breakfast in Shady Side. Read the reviews and tried Pamela's. Tuesday morning - got the mushroom/cheese omelet. It was very good and pretty good sized! Next time, I would ask for 1/2 the cheese though. Had TONS, almost too much. The potatoes they are known for were awesome! Has a cheesy light sauce on them,... More

My husband loves pancakes and he loves crepes so when this place was recommended I knew we had to go here. It did not disappoint. He said they were "killer". They refer to them as hotcakes. They are huge and looked delicious. I had the Tex Mex omelette and it did not disappoint either. Delicious! They are busy, but there... More

I love almost everything I have ever had over the years I have been going to this super-diner. They have the BEST pancakes!!! Really they are crepe-like, platter-covering, mouth-watering flap jacks straight from Heaven! The turkey sausage is tasty, the potatoes are to die for, toast is, well, toast. But please Don't Eat The Bacon!!! They have enough other goodies... More

There's something about a good (great) breakfast place that stays with you, maybe because breakfast is supposed to be the most important meal of the day? All of Pamela's restaurants consistently serve up the best eggs, potatoes and pancakes (outstanding pancakes) around. I'm not a fan of 'cash only' restaurants but all is forgiven once the meal is served. And... More

The food was what I'd expect from a diner for breakfast - still very good mind you but nothing out of the ordinary unless you look at their potatoes. I was not a fan of them (too buttery for me) but many in my group raved about them. Everything I ate was delicious nonetheless and the portions are HUGE so... More

My wife had the French toast croissant and I had the Morning After with banana pecan crepes. The portions were enormous, delicious, and priced very well. On the last day of our trip we almost went back but didn't have enough time. Pamela's is cash only but given the price I was quite ok with that.

Pamela's came recommended by a shop owner on the same street. I took his advise and ordered the crepe pancakes. They were very good and so was the service at our table. I found the crowded restaurant to be too noisy for my liking. The tables were very close together, and it was almost impossible to carry on a conversation.... More

I would highly recommend going here! The food and service were outstanding. They were very good about food allergies too. I had an omelet and potatoes. Delicious! Our waitress and the other staff were very attentive and checked up on us often to see how we were and to refill our drinks. Our food came out quick too! If you're... More

Simply outstanding. Food so good, its a shame you have to eat it. Several locations around town. Try the Mt. Lebanon location.
