Yep, It lives up to or should I say down to what you might expect in a hotel. The food was average and the service was serviceable. There are far too many excellent restaurants in Pittsburgh to dine here unless you are staying in the hotel and there's a blizzard or major thunder storm going on.

Sushi was not quite as good as expected, and there was not a huge variety of it. Still, would have gotten four stars if the service wasn't so slow, and the handicap accessibility were better.

I had scallops (YUM) haricort vert (skinny green beans) and a fried tomato. Food was very good - but it was 90 degrees outside, I had walked to the restaurant and it was impossible to get any water! And nearly impossible to keep my water glass filled. I joked that they could leave the water pitcher on my table, but... More

My wife & I last ate here 5 years ago during a late evening Amtrak layover and had a very nice dinner. Being the closest restaurant to the Amtrak station on another west bound trip, we elected to give it a try again and were not disappointed. We arrived about 8:45 p.m. on a Wednesday evening and not surprisingly it... More

We came here around 10pm after a full day just for a drink and a bite to eat. The server was very attentive and the food was excellent.

We walked in and then left after only a couple of minutes as the overwhelming stench of "less than fresh" fish was too much to handle.

I admit, I was a bit leery, eating fish, in Pittsburgh, on a Monday. However, I was wrong to be scared. The fish was very fresh and very well prepared. We dined early; the restaurant was nearly empty. However, Oliver gave us exemplary service. When we called his attention to an undercharge on the final bill (yes, I do that.... More

Just ate at the Original Fish Market this passed weekend and the sushi was yummy. Nothing special but good quality!

Usually don't patronize hotel restaurants, but four of us had just walked out of another well known Pittsburgh restaurant (Lidia's) as a result of abominable service, and we just needed a place to turn around our bad moods. Original Fish Market was a pleasant surprise. Our server was excellent, and service was timed very well. Two in our party had... More

Stopped in for post Penguin game libation and snacks. Food and service not much better than Penguins effort in game 7, second round. We've had oysters here in the past that were excellent, but this time they were only fair. Blue points were not chilled or briny. Calamari was greasy. Wine list is generally overpriced but you can find a... More
