Great Meal!

Ate here last weekend for the first time and really enjoyed it. A lot of good menu items that it was quite difficult to actually pick what we wanted to eat! Started off with some drinks which came out quickly and were to our liking. Ordered the meatball appetizer, which the waiter was kind enough... read more

We had not been to Casbah in many years but decided to return for a special occasion. We are glad we did! As our reservation was at 6 we had no problem getting parking in the limited parking lot next door. Not sure if they have valet parking. The restaurant does have an outdoor space that has roof and some... More

Our meal at Casbah was generally pretty good. I anticipated a certain type of Mediterranean food, and the menu wasn't what I expected. That could be my ignorance, but other than a few select items, it didn't seem like the menu was exclusively Mediterranean. The service wasn't overwhelmingly great, but it was fine. I had a pasta dish and it... More

Quite expensive, especially for little plates, but they were all quite good. Octopus was a little too "charred" but the calamari were spot on. Nice selection of cheeses. Killer meatballs and gnudi which weren't nude at all, were excellent. They also make a mean negroni. All in all very nice.

Just made our first visit to Casbah and had a great meal. Started with the cheese plate for two with prosciutto and various condiments and it was excellent. We both had pasta - orecchiette and gnocchi - and loved them. Dark chocolate and cherry with fruit for dessert hit the spot. Extensive wine list. Covered patio in the front kept... More

Stopped by in the afternoon for a quick bite to eat. There main dining room is closed in the afternoon before dinner between 2:30-5pm, but you can still order from a small menu at the bar. They were very friendly and accommodating. We tried the scallops and flatbread with hummus/baba ghanoush/red pepper muhummara, both were fantastic and well done. Would... More

Food and service were excellent. Our server, Andrew, was very accommodating and informative about the menu. I had the lamb shank and my wife had the duck. Both were exceptional. Overall an excellent dining experience that I would wholeheartedly recommend.

Casbah is our favorite restaurant in Pittsburgh, PA. We have never, ever been disappointed in the food, service or ambiance. We go as often as we can, we've sent our kids, friends and clients. Everyone gives it rave reviews. It's a different kind of place - you can see shorts and tuxedos all in the same night. The ambiance is... More

We love Casbah! Each time we've been the food is consistently great. I love the atmosphere and uniqueness of the "outdoor" seating.

If we hadn't been directed there by locals, we would have driven by it without stopping as outside is
