Romantic with quality

A great place to impress someone. The menu is very eclectic, the staff very prepared, and the food fresh and tasty. A perfect place to make things go the right way. I have been there many times and never been disappointed.

The Casbah never fails to please, lunch or dinner. They have a great menu with lots of choices, and when I'm in Pgh., I usually have a meal here; this trip it was lunch. The grilled cheese sandwich was delicious as were the other choices my son and his family sampled......spaghetti and meatballs, turkey sandwich and crab cake sandwich. No... More

My husband loved his food - I did not - I am a vegan and they had no options for me - they were not really willing to make anything - the wait staff said they make a pasta with veg - which is what I got - it was 30 and wasn't all that good - if u are... More

Dined here with business colleagues recently. A casual atmosphere, but great food with attentive service. Amongst other things the calimari, gazpacho and halibut were excellent. But the finale, the cheese plate and port plate were amazing. Would definitely go back!

We had a very nice evening at Casbah celebrating our anniversary. The food was great and the staff was very professional, but approachable. We will return next time we visit Pittsburgh.

Ate outdoors on their covered patio--lovely evening. From the bread to the dessert, everything was DELICIOUS. My husband loved the salted butter and I loved the yogurt bread spread. Bread excellent. My salad with arugula and pancetta was superb. My husband had short rib ravioli which was good. My scallops with red pepper pasta was beyond delicious. For dessert we... More

Ate here last weekend for the first time and really enjoyed it. A lot of good menu items that it was quite difficult to actually pick what we wanted to eat! Started off with some drinks which came out quickly and were to our liking. Ordered the meatball appetizer, which the waiter was kind enough to split onto two separate... More

We had not been to Casbah in many years but decided to return for a special occasion. We are glad we did! As our reservation was at 6 we had no problem getting parking in the limited parking lot next door. Not sure if they have valet parking. The restaurant does have an outdoor space that has roof and some... More

Our meal at Casbah was generally pretty good. I anticipated a certain type of Mediterranean food, and the menu wasn't what I expected. That could be my ignorance, but other than a few select items, it didn't seem like the menu was exclusively Mediterranean. The service wasn't overwhelmingly great, but it was fine. I had a pasta dish and it... More

Quite expensive, especially for little plates, but they were all quite good. Octopus was a little too "charred" but the calamari were spot on. Nice selection of cheeses. Killer meatballs and gnudi which weren't nude at all, were excellent. They also make a mean negroni. All in all very nice.
