We travel from NC to Pittsburgh ever year to watch the Steelers play and after my 8 hour drive all night we arrive in Pittsburgh at about 7 o'clock in the morning. It has become our tradition to make De Luca's our first stop before we shop on the Strip District. The food is always good and the service is... More

Fantastic diner/dive atmosphere, and the place was absolutely packed. Even so, the staff and kitchen was keeping up with everything. Can recommend the blueberry french toast and waffles, both were excellent. The California eggs benedict was also very good. Homefries were perfect - just the right mix of crunchy ones. Table next to us were raving about Huevos Rancheros. Just... More

The waffles! The food is delicious and they have anything and everything for Breakfast... Weather we are 2 or 10 there is always room, though on a Saturday morning there is a line...but worth it.

We met up with some friends here on a Saturday afternoon. Luckily, we didn't have to wait for a table. I had the eggs benedict with bacon and home fries (so delicious and a large portion size) and my husband had the chicken strips basket (he said it was some of the best fried tenders he has ever had). Service... More

We were planning one meal on the Strip and De Luca's didn't disappoint! It lived up to its TripAdvisor billing: delicious and affordable. We went for a Monday morning brunch so the wait time wasn't long. Atmosphere was great; my 18-year old daughter thought that she was in an old movie. In fact, some of the seats had plaques where... We went for a late breakfast, and sat at the counter. From there, we could watch the short-order cooks and busy yet skilled waitresses. YUM! Loved our meals. Take note this is a CASH ONLY place, and no reservations (as you would imagine).

Wonderfully sinful. Been a while as bacon, eggs, toast, coffee and sinful fried potatoes have not part of my diet for some time. But sure were good. Good quality and service, for a good old fashioned steel town staple.

We got to Pittsburgh on a Saturday to go to the arts festival and asked where to go for a late breakfast. De Luca's on The Strip was recommended. There was a line outside, but the seating system was very well efficient and after about 20 minutes we were seated. I ordered a seafood omelet that was amazing--it was gourmet... More

This was my first visit to Deluca's. The waitstaff was nice and smiley. The place is cash only and an ATM was very close by. We ordered a basic breakfast, and some items really stood out - the thick homemade Mancini raisin bread toast, the great griddle flavor on the pancakes was very unique, the sausage patties were delicious and...
