We finally understand what all the fuss is about. My husband and I had the opportunity to eat at DeLuca's this weekend and we were more than impressed. We sat at the counter and got to watch the cooks prepare the food, which was quite a treat. Our servers were so friendly, which made the experience that much better. I... More

If you haven't been to De Luca's for breakfast you have really experienced The Strip!. Get there early or you may be standing in line but it is so worth it. Even if you're not hungry..have a couple of coffee and soak up the atmosphere. It is one of the greatest people-watching places around. Every age, every walk of life!... More

Okay...let me begin by saying, "I LOVE diners!" My boyfriend and I have our favorites near our home and go to them often...we love casual, comfort food and good breakfast food anytime of the day....that being said... My boyfriend and I were staying at the Westin Pittsburgh Downtown and were awoken at 6:20 a.m. when the fire alarm went off.... More

Oh. My. God. You have to eat here. Dealing with the street parking is worth it. If you are always in a wheelchair, have someone grab a menu & get it to go. You won't regret it. Inside DeLuca's you will find a mish-mash of Formica & old school diner furniture. But you won't care because the wait staff are... More

We had breakfast here on a busy Saturday morning. Arrived at 9:30 and waited about 25 minutes. Service was good, menu extensive. Had the California omelette; didn't care for it because each of the different ingredients was clumped in a different part of the omelette, not mixed together before the eggs were added. Seems silly to write that, but just... More

Looking for the best breaksfast in the Strip District, we decided to try this place. When we arrived around 10 am on Saturday morning the line was quite long. We decided to wait to see what all they hype was about. After 45 minutes in line on the sidewalk we finally made it into the restaurant. To my surprise there... More

As our pre game meal we decided to go to DeLuca's in the strip district of Pittsburgh. Mixed emotions about the result. The food was excellent the service not so much. Yes they were busy but looked well staffed in respect to numbers but the length of time it took to receive our orders from the time they were placed... More

Here we go with my coworker again! On the morning of our exit out of Pittsburgh (Wednesday 09/24/14), we decided to stop at De Luca's for breakfast. You have to understand the back story. We were in town for a work conference which my coworker previously attended the year before. She also attended college in Pittsburg, PA in the late... More

In Pittsburgh you either eat breakfast at De Luca's or Pamela's. There is no decision for you. De Luca's has amazing diner food, giant portions at a good price. From the Mother or All Burritos to the various types of pancakes, De Luca's will make you never look at an IHOP again. It can be busy but the line outside... More

You'll find De Luca's right in the middle of the strip and it's the place to go for a great breakfast. I don't know if it's the food, or the location, or atmosphere, but you feel it is a special place. Not at all fancy, but what you would expect in a bustling urban setting. A lot of shops, and...
