Worth the wait! Staff fun and knowledgeable. Good service even though they were very busy at both the bar and restaurant. Samples provided without asking. Bring an appetite -portions are large even the salads. Mostly burgers and sandwiches. Beer merchandise sold upstairs. Absolutely worth a stop.

I am not a beer drinker, but if you are you will love this place even more. The food is delicious, the portions are big and the service is friendly. They have so many things to choose from. I wanted to try so many dishes. My fav food is barbecued food, anything on a grill and pastrami. This is my... More

Definitely the best bar/restaurant we visited while in Pitt. Clean with great service and a really nice combination of BBQ and Beer. Both menus were extensive and right for the atmosphere.

Great beer selection! Server let us sample a few before selecting our brews. Good staff, attentive and selling the brand well. The food unfortunately was average. Had the sandwich selected by Maxim mag as one of the top 5 in the US, but it wouldn't even make my top ten. Might need to stop back in and go for another... More

We went to Fat Head's on a Saturday, mid afternoon and it was as busy as any other place is at dinner. We lucked out with a seat at the bar and ordered 2 Fat Head beers (Gudenhoppy I think?). It was good and yes, hoppy. I had the buffalo shrimp with choice of wing sauce, I got the Fat... More

My girlfriend and I just returned home from one of our weekend trips to Pittsburgh; with my brother's recommendation (he lived in Pittsburgh for a while to attend college) we stopped here for am early lunch before heading back to Ohio. I'm not exactly sure how we've been to Pitt so many times and never heard of or found this... More

The beer selection here is great and reasonably priced. Holly Jolly was a wonderful Christmas beer and everyone else at my table enjoyed their beers as well. The food is also delicious and well priced considering the portion sizes.

We really enjoyed this "unexpected" stop at Fat Heads. We were there on a Friday night, so of course,it was very busy. We had no problem bellying up to the bar to get a beverage tho. People were very accommodating and moved aside so we could get in. Pleasant patrons! Now on to the amazing beers. They have some of... More
