The restaurant was very loud. The food was good. Service was slow but it was busy. I recommend the ribs.

We would not consider coming to Pittsburgh without making at least one trip to Fat Heads. Parking can be an issue but we found a lot one block off Carson St. Even though we had burgers the night before we had to get Fat Heads burgers-always delicious. We shared an order of wings and they were also very delicious.

If sheer gluttony and indulgence is what you're after, Fat Heads is a definite stop for you. So many beers on tap (a few on cask as well) and oodles and oodles of menu items. Recipes are gluttonous and over-the-top, smothered in everything that's artery-clogging and delicious. The "#5 sandwich in the US" wasn't really anything to write home about,... More

Great beer, great food! Started with coconut shrimp, tasty! Elliot Ness beer, delicious! Then had Hof-Wich... out of this world grilled chicken wrap with just a little heat. Bold. Awesome! Finished it with Fat Head Goggle Foggle. Great pub, sports bar attitude. I recommend. Yum.

I had a "head-wich" and it was seriously the size of my head. I could barely get my mouth over it. It was the italian of some sort, but no egg. That's nasty. Otherwise - it was fantastic. Several different kinds of thick cut italian lunch meat (like salami, etc.). I also had an order of pierogis and really liked... More

Everything I've had here so far has been AMAZING. The wings are awesome, the burgers are HUGE! Even the ranch dressing and blue cheese dressings are homemade and out of this world. Oh and the beer...win! Check this place out, you won't regret it. Yeah the lines are long, but it's well worth the wait!

Every time we go to Pittsburgh, this is one of our first stops. They have a fantastic selection of beers on tap, and enormous, tasty sandwiches. Not the fanciest of places, but fast paced, crowded, and lively. If your looking for peace and relaxation, not the place to be. If you are looking for great beer, excellent food( sandwiches are enormous),... More

The brews are unique and delicious here, so that's a great draw. We found the good to be good, but somewhat average bar type food. On the several occasions we've been here it's been really crowded, and there isn't convenient space to wait around. Nonetheless, worth a trip to decide for yourself.

Fat Head's is a great spot in the south side to grab a couple of beers and a bite to eat. They have a pretty good sized menu with a lot of options for both food and beer. I prefer to eat here for lunch because there is less of a crowd, but is also a fun place to hang... More

Stopped in for a beer, and a chance to cool off. The beer was so good that we decided to stay for dinner. Just ate casually at the bar, but the service and food were top notch. Can't wait for the opportunity to return!
