Great sandwiches on the south side of Pittsburgh. Perhaps the best sub is the roasted red pepper and sirloin, which is outstanding. For some reason it is not listed on the menu anymore, but they will make it for you. The hot pretzels with honey mustard are a fantastic appetizer. Very nice selecton of beers. All reasonably priced. It is... More

The variety of their own brewed beers combined with a selection of other beers, make this a great watering hole. Combine that with the menu of unique sandwiches and burgers, and you have a one stop, one meal will last you a whole day kind of place! Good luck taking on an appetizer and following it up with one of... More

The food here is terrific! Hands down the best fried mushrooms, ever. The Beasty Burger is also awesome. The fried pierogies were also good. Great atmosphere where everyone seemed to be having fun. Definitely going back.

I initially decided to visit this place because of the name. My kids loved the name, and often would start to laugh. The atmosphere is relaxed and the food/beer selection was plenty. I wish I remembered the servers name (she had many tattoos with blonde hair) because she treated my kids really well. They remember that and so do I.... More

Went straight to Fat Head's for dinner after arriving in Pittsburgh for a weekend getaway. Expected it to blow us away and it did not. Service ok, beer ok, sandwich just ok. Maybe we just did not order the right thing, but we split the chicken wrap and ordered it as a Headwich, which they were glad to do. Next... More

A Pittsburgh original and must stop when coming to Pittsburgh. A sandwich to please everybody, they are GIGANTIC! Great value, great food, huge portions, unique selections, great beer selection. The only negative is I've never been there when I didn't have to wait at least 20 minutes for a table.

this is the second time I have been there and overall some things were very good and some not good. the drink I had an amazing blueberry beer---was fantastic. split a few types of wings across the table and they were all good---beastie BBQ (grilled wings) were the ones I liked best. unfortunately the main part of the meal was... It took a little work to get to Fat Heads but it was well worth it. We took the train to the bus (#48 or #51) from our hotel on the North Shore. The sandwiches and beer were great. My son had a cool sandwich that had buffalo chicken, bacon, egg, and cheese. He loved it! Their brews were very tasty... More
