We stopped in and loved the great beer selection. I ordered the hamburger. It was just ok. Nothing special there. My daughter had the pulled pork sandwich. Very big, pretty tasty. We enjoyed the evening but it was just ok food.

I enjoyed my second trip to this fun, lively bar "donton" or downtown, as we'd normally say. I was excited that there was a new menu. There were a few items we tried that were good and a few missed the mark. The burger and fries were good, but the smoked chicken salad was blah. The giant pretzel was a... More

Great place to go to get amazing burgers of all kind! Great place for friends to meet, watch games and catch up. Usually there is at least space at the bar. I prefer to wait and eat outside. There are TV's outside as well!

If you're on the South Side (which is a very happening area in Pittsburgh), I highly recommend this really great saloon & brewery, especially if you have an appetite! Their sandwiches are HUGE, and their burgers are delicious. I had the Kelsey burger, which is made with their house-smoked bacon, cheddar, pickled red onions...and a pierogi on top for good... More

This is a standard micro-brew place with very large portions and a very good beer selection. As with all of the bar/restaurants in the area, the place can be crowded and a bit noisy, but that is the nature of the beast. Recommend any of the burgers and the fries (sounds like a typical Pittsburgh place...).

Great environment, solid beer selection, good service. However, this place stands on the sandwiches. They said they were big, but holy moly, they were huge. Really outstanding food. Brisquet and Philly sandwiches for us and they were both outstanding, and we could only finish half. And, we had the perogi for an appetizer and it was the best. A place... More

First time in Pit and had to try fatheads. I had the south side slopes headwich, kielbasa/pierogies/cheese/onions and horseradish all together on a sandwich ? yesss!! born and raised in northeast PA this covered all the bases of the foods I grew up with...I even had to make my own copycat version at home when I got back to Georgia... Great beer, great food, very attentive staff! Came in during happy hour and were able to grab a table pretty quickly. Order the wings, well worth it.

I didn't realize Fat Head was in Pittsburgh but I'm so glad I went. I will be making more trips there and will have dinner.
