This place has a great view of the city from Mt Washington. The food is wonderful. Portions are small. I would suggest getting the tasting menu. It is $75 but then you don't miss out on some fabulous choices. I had the chocolate dessert. Not to be missed!

This is the restaurant for the downtown Pittsburgh Marriott Hotel. We went, along with about a hundred others, before a Pittsburgh Penguins hockey game. Despite the crowd, we were seated within 30 minutes, ordered, were served, and out in plenty of time. Food was better than expected, in fact very, very good. Great service, excellent food.

This one word, sublime, sums up this destination eatery. The owner went out of his way to return us to our vehicles after we used the wrong incline and parked or whole group at Station Square. The next year we visited, with our large group, we made sure to use the correct incline! Isabella has the view and the tastiest... More

The view from this restaurant is very nice, the Pittsburgh skyline especially lovely at night. The food, however, was not worth the high price. I'd give this one a miss.

The view is the main attraction. We only had a la carte, so can't comment on the menu. Had ribeye and soup. Both were ok but nothing more. Reception was nice and welcoming, service good. As others I do not see what should make this an especially romantic place.

We visited our families in Pittsburgh, and went to Isabela to celebrate our quadruple birthday, including two big ones. And we are really happy with our choice. We dined in Isabela two years before, and views of course are as good now as then. But food significantly improved with the new chef Alan Peat. His multi-course dinner was creative and... More

Totally disappointing experience. Although the location is great, that should not keep the owners from attempting some form of "curb appeal". From the lack of any landscaping, to the boards that needed to be replaced, or at least re-nailed, the building looked old and uninviting. Once inside, and my party was in the private dining room, the first thing that... More

My husband and I went to Isabella's on Grandview for our 1 year Wedding Anniversary. We were really excited about this place. From what we read, it was voted "the most romantic restaurant in Pittsburgh"... Uhhh.. I'm not sure who wrote those reviews, but its definitely not romantic. Nice? YES! Amazing view? CHECK! Romantic? Not really. The tables are so... More

We've been to Isabela's before and always enjoyed it, but felt we couldn't go too often as the menu only changes seasonally and only 3-4 options for main course, etc. (it's a Prix Fixe $70 per Person menu on Saturdays). This is the 1st time we've been since new ownership & we REALLY enjoy it. So much so that my husband... More
