Locals know Wholley's in the Strip is THE best market in town to buy fresh seafood. From the same family springs The Wild Alaskan Grille, with a broad menu of fresh fare, including varietal oysters, fresh lobster, unique fish and much more. Don't forget to ask for specials because there are many daily options that aren't listed. Great beer selection,... More

I had a business lunch in town right before I needed to go to the airport. I've never been to this place before but gave it a try. We ordered some appetizers and the lunch specials. One of the most unusual dishes on the menu were the Lobster Bisque French Fries (you gotta try them!) and they were delicious. My... More

We met friends here on Saturday night (7/19). We had a reservation which I would recommend as the dining area can get crowded. We arrived early to have a drink at the bar and were impressed with the selection of draft and bottled beers. Once seated at our table-- which was sort of half-round, for four of us, was more... We usually go to Roland's to eat seafood in the Strip, but we decided to give Luke Wholleys a try. We were promptly seated. Had to ask for table to be wiped as it was greasy. Got our menus and waited. And waited. Asked greeter and got a server. Not her section and seemed bothered. But we got our drinks.... More

A vibrant bohemian atmosphere w decent, not great food, friendly service. Without the server comping our app (raw oysters, the highlight of our meal...delish!) our early dinner via the cost would have been offputting. Not something we can regularly afford to visit.

I love this place. My favorite place to have lunch on the strip. The specials are always wonderful and the lobster bisque fries are just killer. The small is plenty to share for a table of four. People watching is enjoyable too. A fun place, the "ambassador" will get you seated quickly, the bartenders will offer beer samples, enjoy!

Located in the heart of the strip, this "industrial gourmet" restaurant has some of the freshest fish in the city cooked by one of the best seafood chefs I have ever met. He bears the Wholey name; a name synonimous with great food in Pittsburgh. The fish are all very well prepared and paired with excellent sides. He has a... More

We came here for dinner once and the food was good but a bit pricey. I would definitely eat it again, though. However, I have also come here several times for a midday beverage and some oysters. It's difficult to find good oysters in Pittsburgh as, unfortunately, they don't harvest well in the three rivers. With that being said, the... More

My husband and I stopped in for a bite to eat while enjoying the Strip. We ended up sitting at the bar since the restaurant was pretty busy. We had the award winning bloody Mary's and enjoyed every sip of it. The two large shrimp that came with the traditional bloody Mary garnish were a nice treat! Ended up splitting... More

We had a very nice lunch at this establishment. They have FRESH oyster bar, tasty bloody Mary's (their own mix) and the food was of perfect portion. I walked away full but not stuffed which is a big bonus in my world. Our waiter was hilarious and we got to meet Robert Wholey which was pretty neat.
