This restaurant has just reopened and I am so glad I was able to eat there! We were able to be seated right away and began with fried green tomatoes. They were very good. Next I had the crab cake sandwich special and my husband did a soup/sandwich combo which was pulled pork and gumbo. The portions were generous and... More

I have been to New Orleans many times and always enjoyed Cajun food. NOLA is the real thing. Always ask to see if they have Red Fish, but all meals a delight. Great selection of wine and beer. Interior has maximum use of space and always crowded, so make reservations.

Food is delicious. I love the alligator and flatbreads. I usually sit at the bar and the service has always been great. Love the live music and the drinks are made well!

Nola offers a wide range of traditional New Orleans dishes as complex, flavorful and subtle as any we have found in their hometown--a memorable sample of one of the world's great cuisines. The Chef is responsive to requests and those diners trying to avoid excessive spicy-heat can find much to enjoy here. Other Southern classics are available as well. The... More

I wasn't sure what to expect as I tend to be a "safe" eater and the idea of New Orleans creole cuisine had me nervous. One of the guys in our party ordered the alligator and passed it around. I actually tried it and it was awesome! I very much enjoyed the crab bisque, but the Mac Daddy (mac and... More

Wanted to eat here because it was rated pretty good - and went with several co workers. After we were seated, with menu's and water on the table, several more people showed up - the staff put some tables together and moved us to another location so we could all be together. That's caring about the customer. Various food ordered... More

First time visit but it had been on my list of must-eat-in places for a few months. Arrived for lunch on a quiet Monday. Seated immediately and comfortably, so no issues there. Very pleasant attentive waiter. Order a couple of lunch special sandwiches, one with fries, the other with fruit and soup. What could possibly go wrong. In a word,... More

Great little place with good food, drinks and atmosphere. Waitress was friendly, offered suggestions and looked after us well. Food was well flavoured, not to spicy. Food was well cooked, starters were excellent, we shared a mixture. All enjoyed main courses we recommend if you're in the area. A nice informal venue.

We arrived at NOLA on a frigid January day and were given a warm welcome. Our waitress, Britney, was cheerful and knowledgeable giving tasting notes on the beer selection from memory. The menu had a good selection without being overwhelmingly long. My wife doesn't like ultra-hot spices, so Britney steered her away from some of the dishes. We settled on... More

Wasn't sure that I would like Nola - I had heard that New Orleans food could be a bit spicy and I'm not good with heat. We first came across them when they gave out samples of jambalaya at the food fair and I found that a bit spicy. Told our server that and she told me what to avoid.... More
