Went to Nola on the Square for the first time. We had an amazing experience. It was a very busy night in Pittsburgh. Light up night was the night before. So everyone was out enjoying the start of the holidays. Our bartender was Danielle( Danny). She was friendly and helpful. Took the time to explain some of the newer craft... More

It's chancy trying for Cajun/Creole this far from Nawlins. Especially when they advertise it's nouveau! If nouveau to you means cold diced tomatoes over undercooked rice with undercooked shrimp, over cooked chicken, a little andouille sausage, and scallops thrown on the side, then have the jambalaya. I was warned the little cast iron crock it came in was going to... More

We dined at NOLA while in Pittsburgh. We were walking around Market Square and asked the locals where to eat. They suggested NOLA. The atmosphere was very nice. A jazz band was playing. I had been to New Orleans in the spring and was very pleased with NOLA'S menu. Jambalaya, Fish, Rice....all very tasty. Overall good experience. Our server was... More

If you like New Orleans spicy Jumbalaya, this may be be a good choice of entrees in this restaurant on the Square in Downtown Pittsburgh. Fried green tomatoes were excellent as well. Vegetables were a nice compliment to the meals and prepared al dente. Others in the group had a nice Filet Mignon, Catfish, and Shrimp and Grits. Everyone reported... More

This was a business function in a separate room so I don't know what the service is really like. Ours was fabulous. Everything was top notch from start to finish.

Being a lover of spicy and flavorful food, I was looking forward to sampling some good ole new orlean's styled food. We visited the restaurant on Friday evening before a show at Heinz Hall. The place was packed at both the bar and dinning area. Our server was helpful and provided some pretty good recommendations. The offerings reflected items found... More

I've eaten here twice before. The first time was for lunch and both the food and service were fantastic. Then I ate here last month with a co-worker for dinner - the waiter was weird. He looked at me, asked my order and I point to the menu and order the flat iron steak. His response was "Ok. And what... More

We popped into NOLA on the Square around 6pm on a Saturday afternoon in late September. The plan was to lounge outside, have a drink and maybe an appetizer and decide where to have dinner, as we had gift certificates to Eleven. Well, Market Square has been cleaned up nicely and the Square was buzzing with people (and PedalPubs.) After... More

This place was a pleasant surprise located at Market Square. We sat outside for lunch since the day was beautiful weather. We had the Spinach, Roasted Mushroom and Ricotta Cheese Flatbread Pizza and it was out of this world! We also had the Waldorf Wedge Salad which was delicious! Drinks were a bit pricey... $10 for a Pumking beer (16... More
