Great place

So glad we came here! Ambience was great. Ordered Catish & Pork Loin. Both were excellent. Table next to us complained about jambalaya - glad we didn't get it. The live band Olga Watkins was really good. Nice mature crowd moving & grooving to the beat in the seats and some standing. Will be back!

Ordered a double tanqueray on the rocks, dirty. Got the drink. Thought it was a single. Informed it was a double. Single is 1.5 ounces. Double is 2 ounces-- no more. Huh? That's the law sir! Says the muscle bound manager. Went next door to Sienna. 2.5 ounce standard poor. I hate being lied to.

The title sums it up. The foods is good and the ambience is great; however the service is a little weak. As long as you are not in a rush, enjoy the food, beer and decor and do not expect too much on the service front. 4 stars is a little generous. 3.5 stars would be a little closer to... More

There is no way you ever find the same level of awesome in cajun or creole outside of Louisiana, but NOLA does a respectable take on it, and offers some of the classics. My husband loved the frog legs, and of course, our son loved the desserts!

To be honest, the day we were there for lunch the staff was confused, to say the least. But the food was pretty good. Bonus: the beautiful mural portraying Mardi Gras.

Excellent food and not fussy about substitutions. Recommend blackened fish when available. If you are in doubt as to what to get, ask Larkin, a native of N.O.-she won't steer you wrong!

A group of us went for dinner before going to theater. We were greeted with warmth, guided to our table and greeted pretty quickly by our waiter. It kind of went downhill after that. I ordered a martini with an olive and an onion (cocktail) and a glass of ice. It came with two olives and a thin slice of... More

We visited on a very busy Fourth of July. We were told the wait would be close to 45 min but was ready much sooner. We sat close to the kitchen so I was able to observe the smooth operation. The organization was quite amazing. All worked together so well from the host staff, waitstaff, kitchen staff as well as... More

Only went for a drink, so can't comment on food. But great service and cool house cocktails. Nice place to sit outside when it's warm and relax right on the square.

Started out great. Great waitress. Packed. Good music. Started with fried alligator and fried green tomatoes. They were delicious. Had the chopped salad. A big bowl of romaine and not much else. Also the gumbo. That was good. We shared a flatbread. Came out burned on the bottom. Sent it back and the kitchen staff ate it. Next flatbread was... More
