Reliably good fresh food, aggressively priced

My friend and I had lunch at Ciao 2 to celebrate her birthday. The location, in the mall at Settlers Ridge, is ordinary, but this small family owned restaurant is not. My husband and I have enjoyed dinner here on several occasions, and have never been disappointed. The food is creative, fresh, and... read more

Stopped here for a late lunch on the way back home from a trip to downtown Pittsburgh. Looked good until we got inside. the owner/server was very pushy. Kept telling us there was specials but took for ever to tell us about the lunch specials. Their lunch special sandwhich was $14 for a eggplant parmasean sandwich. Out of my price... More

Amazing service and food!! Ciao 2 served lunch for my family (over thirty people) after my Grandmother's funeral on Saturday. We were served family style the most amazing appetizer, salad, chicken parm, pasta and tiramisu. Service was the perfect speed - every request was honored with a smile and we never felt rushed. I cannot say enough good things about... More

Was treated to lunch at Ciao 2 for Fathers Day. The location made me think it was a strip mall restaurant but I was pleasantly surprised, Had one of the recommended specials (Gorgonzola ravioli) which was excellent. Had the zucchini appetizer which was also very good. Good wine list however a little pricy. Service was excellent and the dishes were... More

Had dinner with my grandchildren, 5 and 10. They had dinned there before, anticipation of the meal kept there attention. The food was excellent, staff friendly. A bit pricey, but worth it.

We enjoyed our visit to CIAO2. Many creative meals are offered at the restaurant at strip mall at Settlers Ridge. The owner was cordial and the service was great. Just know that the prices are a little high, but the meals are good

Stopped in on Saturday night with friends and had a great time. Sat at the bar and Rob took great care of us. Nice wine selection. Ordered the flatbread special appetizer which was very good. Veal dishes and scallop specials also very tasty. Menu very extensive so lots of other options in addition to the daily specials. Have eaten here... More

Food was bland. Very expensive! People working there had no personality. Did not make my friends and Me feel welcome.

I met friends for dinner after work at this restaurant. One of the women in our group had a satisfying lunch there and thought it would be nice to try it for dinner. After our server struggled through the specials, I was surprised to see the menu prices. But, we know, some places charge more for the quality of great... More

We arrived and Nick - the owner - explained that he had lived in Rome. The atmosphere created by video and photographs was lovely. The wine he recommended - lovely, complex and fruity. The food is pricey ...but quality usually is. The good news: The soup du jour was creamy and savory - a nice blend of garlic, beans and... More
