We visited this restaurant before an opera and had amazing entrees (I had the duck and he white fish). The drinks were mighty tasty (an orange pear sangria for both of us) and our dessert was superb! We usually come here for dinner before the opera and are not disappointed!

We were one of the first reservations on a busy Friday night. The service was impeccable. If felt like a new dining experience in Pittsburgh. The atmosphere felt progressive and new. The food was delicious. We ordered bread that came with three delicious toppings. We ended up liking one topping the best, and they happily refilled. We ordered innovative drinks... More

Very nice breakfast experience after our overnight at the Fairmont. Service was first class, and their breakfast benedict specials are wonderful but just remind them to not overcook the eggs.

Located in the Fairmont Hotel. Literally the best omelette Gail has ever had! I had the buffet, everything from egg white frittata to a charcuterie plate, and about everything else you would expect on a breakfast buffet. It was all done well in a quiet, non-crowded room with an attentive waiter. We were there for three hours (honest) with no... More

My wife and I had the prix dinner at the Habitat as part of Pittsburgh’s Restaurant Week. I had the winter vegetable salad, the braised pork shoulder and a lovely desert. My wife had the citrus salad, the pan roasted cod, and the same lovely desert. The food was excellent and the presentation was outstanding. My wife (and I) considers... More

We had breakfast on a Saturday morning in the restaurant, which was quite quiet. The waiter was charming, attentive and made us feel at home, and the china and cutlery were so interesting and attractive that they really enhanced our enjoyment. Our food was great, well designed and well executed and reasonable in price. The restaurant design is interesting and... More

Very good selection of breakfast dishes, but service can be slow. Attractive and clean. Prices are high, as expected.

Note: she did not apologize for making us wait. After 5-10 minutes, our waiter decided to show up. He took our drink orders. In... More
