Located on the Fairmont's second floor with great views, an open kitchen and contemporary décor this restaurant features locally sourced foods. We enjoyed breakfast here two consecutive mornings of our hotel stay. The first morning we both feasted on eggs scrambled with ham and potatoes in a small cast iron skillet. I liked the freshly squeezed orange juice, while my... More

The one thing that impresses me most about this restaurant is the wide range of alternative menu items catered to specific dietary needs: vegetarian, diabetic, and heart smart included. The food all three times I have gone has been well above average. They still have not quite been able to nail down the right way to mix a bloody Caesar... More

Nice option for a nicer brunch buffet. Definitely worth the try. It isn't nearly as large as Grand Concourse, but they have nice options on the buffet. Plus one regular menu item.

Overall a very pleasant Sunday brunch experience. On par with any of the great hotels or restaurants in NYC. However the price does match. At $65 per person please encourage your guests to eat up! The jazz trio for Mother's Day was a very nice touch and very accomplished. Service is what you would expect: "how can I please you?"... More

Unlike most downtown upscale restuarants, you can easily carry on a conversation here without shouting because considerable forethought was given to acoustics when planning the space. Although it has an open kitchen, the dining space is carpeted and there are various sound baffling treatments in the walls and ceilings. Most of the tables are along windows that offer a view... The fresh fruit was so good, especially for fruits like watermelon being out of season. In addition, the breakfast bar included fruit smoothies and bowls of raspberries, blackberries and more, which, like the fruit trays the staff kept full. Their own granola was delicious with pistachios, dried cranberries and crunchy toasted oats.

The service was very friendly and timely. The atmosphere is eclectic and has a good date feel. Overall, the food was good, but not worth the very high prices. The menu has some unique items and everything we had was fresh with great presentation. It was just that the food was good, but not great for what we paid. I... More

We chose Habitat after hearing some good word-of-mouth about it, and overall it lived up to our expectations. The food was very good, with a very creative menu. Our server was very personable. The prices were rather high, but I've come to expect that with most hotel restaurants. Entrees average $30 and do not include a salad, or even any... More

The food was more like a European breakfast selection than one in any US city that I have experienced! There were fresh cold & hot meats, cheese, very fresh fruit (even in Jan), fabulous fresh Granola, and many hot selections, my favorites being corn beef hash and gravy & biscuits.

Portions are small in general, price is high in general, service is good. It is a typical hotel restaurant. very convenient if you are staying there, but I wouldn't go there for any other reason.
